Hi Bentley,
For the image, if you right click on the shopping cart image and click “copy image location” you’ll come up with an address like:
http:www.YOUR_SITE.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/images/shopping_cart_icon.gif
What I do (just so I don’t really blow it;-) is rename the graphic to old-shopping_cart_icon.gif using my ftp program.
Then I upload the image I want to replace it with to the same directory, and rename it to shopping_cart_icon.gif (the original graphic name).
When you go back to your browser, hold “control” and F5 to refresh and clear your cache. Your new graphic should show. Once it does, you can delete old-shopping_cart_icon.gif .
As for styling, I use Firefox for development, and Firebug (a Firefox plugin) for troubleshooting style. I currently have wp-eStore 4.5.4 , so it may be different depending on your version, but I’m seeing the style infor coming from style.css lines 502, 518, and 549.
Save a copy of your orig style.css and start tweaking the elements in those regions. Also, start a log of any changes you make so that when you upgrade later on, you won’t have to re-research in order to reapply those changes.
Hope this helps,
Dave
DFranzwaMemberThat would be awesome!
DFranzwaMemberI’d go on record as interested in the Amazon Payment option, too.
DFranzwaMemberJust in case someone does need to know how to re-size a gigantic image, there are a couple ways to do this.
You can re-size using you own graphics editor (I use xnview a lot (free)), you can use a cool little Firefox addon (Pixlr Grabber – also free), or you can do it the easiest way.
I know, I like easy too;-) When you are adding an image to a post or a page in WordPress, click the little box on the editor to “add an image,” locate the image on your hard-drive and click “upload.”
Once uploaded, the resulting screen has options way down at the bottom for some standard sizes:
Thumbnail (150 × 150)
Medium (300 × 185)
Large (640 × 395)
Full Size (2550 × 1575)
That should give you plenty of options as far as sizing for your page or post.
October 21, 2010 at 3:41 pm in reply to: Where is the {transaction_id} stored? How to reset it? #24023DFranzwaMemberAmin – I used this counter as well and also need to reset it to zero.
Is the counter not a part of the standard wpeStore script?
Any hints?
DFranzwaMemberwzp – Yeah, I sure did! Already figured it out and was reporting back (humbly;) when I saw your post. Just one of those “duh” moments, only this time I was lucky.
Thanks
DFranzwaMemberHi Ivy,
I overwrote the files via ftp, deactivated, then reactivated the plugin as per instructions. Should I be doing it differently?
October 18, 2010 at 6:24 pm in reply to: Can I send notification email to more than one address? #25567DFranzwaMember(Addendum) This does work. Looks like you must have a space after the comma.
I entered the email addresses (separated by comma) in the “Notification Email Address” field of the eStore plugin settings.
DFranzwaMemberHi Ivy, Thanks for that little piece of advice. I have submitted the update form.
DFranzwaMemberRegarding #2) “Do you have the “Enable Google Analytics Tracking” checkbox checked in the setting menu of WP eStore plugin?”
Having a wee bit of an issue here. There is no “Enable Google Analytics Tracking” checkbox in my settings, under 3rd party integration or anywhere else.
I’m running WP eStore Settings v 2.9.8 and still running under wp 2.9.2 Would not bringing WP up to 3.0 cause that not to show?
I do have G.Analytics set up as well as Google Analytics for WordPress plugin activated.
Thanks, Dave
DFranzwaMemberHi Ivy ~
Thanks for your quick response. The issue is at:

Thanks again,

March 29, 2010 at 10:27 pm in reply to: Tweaking the Affiliate TOS Url to include A Facebox (Similar to Lightbox) #18468DFranzwaMemberRuhul, I’d like to try implementing facebox on WP eStore in place of Lightbox. I want to be able to click on the thumbnail and open up a “more details” box.
Have you got a rough plan of how I would attack it? Doesn’t have to be a detailed, step-by-bloody-step dissertation , just a rough idea.
Thanks for all your hard work
Dave
