When placing short codes on my sales page, whether individual or all products, the lightbox works on the first thumbnail on the page just fine. Clicking on subsequent product thumbs takes you to a page with just the thumbnail on it, with the only return method to sales page being the “back” button.
Has anyone else run into the phenomenon?
I saw a post on Facebox which looks pretty cool, and would love to implement that instead of LB, but for now, the easier and faster, the better.

/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/images/prod-imgs/SewingBookJPG100_125x125.jpg
Is this the URL you used as the thumbnail image?
April 1, 2010 at 6:51 pm #19227boogieboaMemberHello Ivy,
I’m having the same problem at http://www.colorfultimes.com/products/
Any suggestions?
Thanks

/images/shop/birthday.jpg
This indicates that you are either not using the full URL in the “Thumbnail Image URL” field or you are using some other plugin (possibly a lightbox management one) which is chopping the image URL.
A good way to isolate the issue is to deactivate all the plugins except the well known ones (e.g. Akismet, All in all SEO etc.) then activate them one by one keeping an eye on the issue to see which one introduces it.
October 19, 2010 at 2:17 am #19229AVAMemberI wonder if this ever was resolved because I am having the same problem. I have checked all my code and only well known plugins are left activated. Again, only the first thumbnail opens properly in the lightbox and subsequent items on my page open to another browser window. Thanks.

Lets start with a link to the page where this issue is happening and the plugin version that you are using so I can take a look.
October 19, 2010 at 10:33 am #19231AVAMemberHere is a link to the page: http://www.avabusinessservices.com/eshop/website-templates
The first item opens up in the lightbox just fine, but the second does not. I copied the second item from the first and just changed the image file name so I know the basic configurations are the same. The shortcodes are the same in my page too. I tried switching around the order of the items; added different items; changed the location and file names of the images; and it is always the same result: the second or subsequent items don’t open in the lightbox.
Regarding plugins: I deactivated the lightbox plugin that I was using before downloading and using this eStore plugin so I know I dont have a conflict there. Other plugins I am using: Akisment, SEO, cforms…and a couple that change the admin page only.
Version of eStore: v4.3.2
Wordpress version: 3.0.1
I hope all the above information helps find the problem.
Thanks very much for your time and assistance.
October 19, 2010 at 11:47 pm #19232amin007ParticipantThank you for all the details… I can see the lightbox fine on my browser (I use firefox and chrome). What browser are you using? Maybe this is happening for a specific browser in your case.
October 20, 2010 at 10:24 am #19233AVAMemberThank you for taking a look. The lightbox works fine for both items in those browsers? I have another browser loaded on another computer and will take a look later at that to see the difference. I am using IE, version 7.0.5730.13 on my main computer and where I am having this issue.
Of course I want and need this feature to work on all browsers so all users have the same experience.
As a side note, I visited the sites of the other forum members reporting this problem and either they havent found a fix or it is limited to IE because I see the same thing still happening.
Again I hope this information is helpful to you to diagnose the problem and provide a solution.
October 20, 2010 at 9:50 pm #19234AVAMemberIt seems to be an IE problem as I was able to open the items fine in the lightbox using Opera. IE 7 and IE8 presented me with the same issue as reported.
Hope this info helps.
Thanks.

I will send you an email to get site access so I can see what is going on with IE and your site.
