Not sure what’s going on.
I upgraded wp-eStore with current version (4.5.4 – verified in wp_cart_for_digital_products.php ) but the Version # in the settings tab still reads 2.9.8
All appears to be working ok, just wondering why it won’t update.
Hi, Did you do a full delete of the plugin and reinstall via the WordPress installer?
or Did you override the files using a FTP?
Hi Ivy,
I overwrote the files via ftp, deactivated, then reactivated the plugin as per instructions. Should I be doing it differently?
* Deactivate the older version of the ‘WP eStore’ plugin from the Plugins menu.
* Unzip and upload all the new files using your FTP client (example, FileZilla) overwriting the existing eStore plugin files.
* Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
I think you got the first 2 steps reversed.
wzp – Yeah, I sure did! Already figured it out and was reporting back (humbly;) when I saw your post. Just one of those “duh” moments, only this time I was lucky.
Thanks
