January 28, 2020 at 4:09 pm in reply to: Can I have recurring Stripe membership payments and add to cart for PPV? #80277
Just FYI that I figured out why the APR shortcode wasn’t working – I had the Redirection plugin set to check pages and posts for URL changes and automatically redirect them. Once I unchecked that, I could place the shortcode with the video html inside a DIVI Text or Code module and it works great.
Now others can know that it doesn’t conflict with DIVI and to beware of URL redirections when using the APR.
Thank you for all your help.
January 27, 2020 at 3:07 pm in reply to: Display all membership levels of the user in his profile? #53918Hi. I’m using the shortcode to display the Transaction ID in a member’s account/dashboard when they log in.
But it seems that when viewing it on mobile, it’s not displaying at all. Any ideas on how to resolve that?
Thank you,
January 24, 2020 at 11:25 am in reply to: Sign In required verbiage page location – not readable #80175Hi! That coding affected all the pages, but I was able to finally inspect the login message and saw the code so I could add some CSS for that and it worked great!
Here’s the code: .eMember_protected_message_default {margin-top: 200px !important;}
This way it’s not affecting the header on all pages. Thank you for the help!
January 23, 2020 at 3:03 pm in reply to: Can I have recurring Stripe membership payments and add to cart for PPV? #80274So I’ve been making some progress, but when I use the APR shortcode for a PPV, it doesn’t show anything except the video embed html.
This is what I had:
[wp_eStore_APR expiry=0 status=unexpired]
<iframe src=”https://player.vimeo.com/video/386002608″ width=”640″ height=”358″ frameborder=”0″ allow=”autoplay; fullscreen” allowfullscreen></iframe>
[/wp_eStore_APR]
Am I doing the video HTML incorrectly? Thanks.
January 23, 2020 at 11:09 am in reply to: Can I have recurring Stripe membership payments and add to cart for PPV? #80273Thanks for the article about DIVI. But reading into it further it seems to also be influenced by WooCommerce.
And on this site we’re using WP eStore not WooCommerce, and we’re not using any ‘shop’ features that DIVI has.
If I can get any feedback on the other questions I have, that would be great. Thanks.
January 22, 2020 at 4:55 pm in reply to: Can I have recurring Stripe membership payments and add to cart for PPV? #80271Ok. My head is spinning from trying to understand all this. This is what I’d like to do:
A subscription to our Tools is only available to subscribers/members as a subscription upgrade.
There is no expiration on the videos. The Tools subscription expires with the base CTA subscription.
If possible, set them both up to auto-renew.
The price for the Tools subscription is $150 per purchase/renewal.
Is it possible to upsell the initial CTA subscription to get Tools?
If so, offer a 20% off if Tools purchased with base CTA subscription. This 20% not available again. One-time only.
Is this possible? Remember that we’re using your Stripe extension for recurring payments subscription feature.
Thank you.
January 22, 2020 at 4:36 pm in reply to: Can I have recurring Stripe membership payments and add to cart for PPV? #80270Also, with multiple memberships enabled (using Stripe recurring subscription payments), does each membership have its own expiration date and renew per membership level? Each of our membership levels are 1-year from date of purchase and set for auto-renewal.
Or, does the primary membership determine when all membership levels are renewed? And can I manually edit in each member’s account which membership level is their primary one?
January 22, 2020 at 4:17 pm in reply to: Can I have recurring Stripe membership payments and add to cart for PPV? #80269Ok. Thanks for explaining about the expiry and click count.
And regarding what visual builder we’re using, it’s DIVI by Elegant Themes. Why?
Thank you.
January 21, 2020 at 4:33 pm in reply to: Can I have recurring Stripe membership payments and add to cart for PPV? #80266Great! This is really helpful. To clarify, for the APR option, how do we set the number of times that someone can view a video:
[wp_eStore_APR expiry=0 status=expired]
Now you don’t!
[/wp_eStore_APR]
Is it for example that we put 10 for ‘expiry=’ and does that mean 10 times they can visit that page/URL? Or is it an amount of time?
Thank you.
January 7, 2020 at 2:40 pm in reply to: Sign In required verbiage page location – not readable #80172Hi. Sorry to not answer for so long. We still have this issue. I tried using the PicPaste and it seems to show nothing: picpasteplus.com/index.php?action=list&folder=&image=000000000000[CTA%20Member%20Login].txt
If you go to the link you should be able to see that the area saying you have to log in is hardly visible because it’s behind the logo and top header: cryptotaxaudit.com/member-login/open-a-crypto-audit-defense-case/
It seems like it is conflicting with the theme (DIVI visual builder), but even then isn’t there something that can be done to fix this?
December 9, 2019 at 2:03 pm in reply to: Stripe subscriptions payment not processing in Stripe but showing in eStore #80165This would be something really important to note on your documentation! Please make sure and address this better regarding the Stripe subscription feature.
That’s too bad. So is there a way that we can create something for an affiliate to share that is not clickable?
For example, can we create a landing page on our site for an affiliate, like cryptotaxaudit.com/ivan, that the affiliate can then say to his people, ‘go the site and add ‘ivan’ to the URL, and then once they go to that URL from there the products can be tracked to him or wherever they go from there can be tracked?
Thanks.
December 6, 2019 at 1:06 pm in reply to: Stripe subscriptions payment not processing in Stripe but showing in eStore #80163Yes, after the first two payments (the first that failed and the second that succeeded) I had changed the price in the estore’s product management.
The first time, which failed, I had changed the price only in the first section of the product details and then after trying to process it, realized I had not changed it in the subscription settings. This was all done within the same hour, so a short amount of time.
Once I had the price correctly changed in both areas of the product, I tested it the next day and that’s when it worked.
For the third payment a day later, I had to change the price and did so in both areas, then the next day tested it and that one failed as well.
Today, I did another test and haven’t changed the price or anything about the products and it worked.
In all the cases, the email notifications were sent, the sale was recorded in eStore and the membership account created, regardless of whether the charge was successfully processed or not.
December 5, 2019 at 12:05 pm in reply to: Stripe subscriptions payment not processing in Stripe but showing in eStore #80161No, we’re not using any caching plugins.
Both of the tests have been ‘live’ payment processing (no sandbox). And actually, there’s been a total of three tests – first one by me, which didn’t work, and then second by me, which did work, and then the most recent third one by someone else, which didn’t work and showed old information (rather than the updated price).
We’re using the eStore subscription link that I was given here in the forum by one of your moderators, but not in the button shortcode. I’m simply using it in one of the button modules that comes with our DIVI visual builder theme. Here’s the link: cryptotaxaudit.com/?wp_eStore_subscribe=1&gateway=stripe_subsc
I’ve checked and made sure that the eStore product is correctly integrated with the correct Membership Level ID as well.
Thanks for the help!
Is there a way to use coupons on subscription payments being made with Stripe? Or to use the subscription coupon add on if we’re using Stripe with WP eStore? We’re wanting to use the affiliate ID as the coupon (I saw your posts on that) but we’re finding that coupons don’t usually work on subscription payments? Thanks.
