Thank you so much that worked!
March 1, 2013 at 1:19 am in reply to: eStore – entering in 100% coupon confusion with paypal checkout #54014consciousdivasMemberHi – I have the manual process working now. If you go to [http://www.consciousdivas.com/admin/march-diva-date-night] and enter in the coupon FLORENTINE, you will see it takes you to the eStore manual page.
However, now my next issue is that:
1) The person who had the coupon is not being added to MailChimp (yet paid members are being added just fine)
2) In my Manage Coupons section, the “Redemption Count” isn’t counting the coupon used. It still shows as 0.
Please help me solve this?

February 15, 2013 at 11:16 pm in reply to: eStore – Cart not working, checkout only shows "Your cart is empty" #53893consciousdivasMemberI have deactivated the Cache plugin and it is still not working.
I have added a new test page for us here: [http://www.consciousdivas.com/newformtest]
Also, no one has replied to my response from earlier:
I’ve been in contact with my host and they cannot see any sessions problems. I have the ability to reset the sessions.save path – my host told me that you would be able to give me this path to correct the problem.
Also, what version of the mysqli api is the most recent version of the plugin built in? Another idea is that the version my host is running is incompatible with the plugin somehow.
Please answer both questions. Thank you!

consciousdivasMemberThank you for your help Peter. Yes, I mean after the sale has been made, I login to PayPal and all of the orders (though I’ve sold different products) say “Shopping Cart” under Order Description. I’m hoping there’s a way I can have that say the product title. It did at one point then stopped.
The problem is that I’m having a hard time distinguishing which product people bought when I look in PayPal (since many of our products are the same amount and now there is no title).
So here are the steps:
1. I add a product and I have given each product a specific title AND description within eStore
2. I did NOT add a PayPal button inside PayPal (just fyi)
3. I added the “Add to Cart” button on a page and people buy via PayPal
4. In PayPal, all orders (regardless of product) are listed as “Shopping Cart” for the Order description (also called “Item Title”). There is no Item ID for any product so I can’t tell that way either.
My hunch:
1. The “Buy Now” button achieves the goal of transferring the title to PayPal, but the Add to Cart button doesn’t?
2. I have to add a PayPal button inside PayPal so it connects to the product sold at the title shows up that way?
Those seem “out there” but I am reaching. It did work when we first setup eStore two months ago, then all of a sudden stopped. The only changes are we started using the “Add to Cart” button and we stopped setting up the buttons inside PayPal as well.
I am trying to test all of these things and more, but thought maybe you may know what to do?
Thank you again for your time.
August 16, 2012 at 9:31 pm in reply to: eStore – email notifications, add to cart button and W3 total cache plugin #48397consciousdivasMemberHere’s some more information on issues with add-to-cart button:
Behavior: upon redirect to checkout page, cart is always empty.
Running eStore v6.8.8
php sessions are enabled in php.ini
(I noticed that
session.use_only_cookies = 1
does that present a problem for this plugin?)I have set:
define('WP_ESTORE_ENABLE_NEW_CHECKOUT_REDIRECTION', '1');
in advanced config file.
Other notes: we are using WP Total Cache plugin. I made sure to follow the instructions in this thread: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/using-the-plugins-with-w3-total-cache-plugin
Also, same behavior before installing total cache plugin.
Thank you!
