Thanks for the response. Yes, I have been regularly checking my spam folder just in case those notification emails have been going there. But I have not received a single notification email in even the spam folder. The notifications have just not been coming at all and I can’t figure out why.
The link to the registration page is: christophercdoyle.com/the-quest-club (just in case you need this specific information to help resolve the issue).
chrisdoyleMemberYes, I was not referring to the form for the verification email. That is not the registration form. I was referring to the form that needs to be filled in after you click on the verification link, where mandatory fields have to be filled in before membership is approved. But I don’t know how to send you the link to that registration form since it is only generated after the verification email is sent. If it is possible for you to create a dummy account and generate a verification link to check the validation in the registration form where the mandatory fields exist, I will greatly appreciate it. Or if there is some other way to check those fields, please let me know. Thanks
chrisdoyleMemberI have eMember v 10.1.1 installed and I have the same problem mentioned in this thread of free members being allowed to register even if they have not filled in the mandatory fields which have been enabled in settings.
It is not a theme issue because I uninstalled the theme I use and used different themes to test the registration and the problem persisted.
I am unable to find out where exactly the problem lies and will request your help with this so I can have this rectified.
This is the link to the registration page: christophercdoyle.com/the-quest-club/membership-registration/
Can you please check this out and advise what action needs to be taken to resolve this issue and make the registration form work? I will greatly appreciate your help with this.
Thank you!
September 18, 2018 at 2:57 pm in reply to: Bulk deleting free members from database if custom registration fields are empty #78553chrisdoyleMemberThank you. I appreciate the guidance. I will ask someone who knows PHP coding to help me with this. Much appreciated.
chrisdoyleMemberThank you for your reply. Please note:
1. SMTP is not installed on this site
2. I have gone through the checklist in the link you have provided and none of them are relevant, so none of those issues exist
3. As mentioned in the earlier post, the plugin is sending emails when I select “set status to active and notify”. So there is nothing wrong with the server or email settings since the plugin is sending emails when this option is selected. However, the plug in is not sending the verification email. Please provide a solution for this since this is where the problem lies.
Please note that, for the time being, I have turned off the verification email requirement for free membership since I was getting complaints. But, since I purchased the plug in ONLY because it could send verification emails for free membership, I would really like to get what I purchased the plugin for, otherwise it is of no use to me.
I look forward to a speedy resolution of this issue. Thank you.
