December 29, 2014 at 5:04 pm in reply to: Can 2 discount coupons be applied at the same time? #50392
Hi admin, having read your answer above (We have a check to make sure only one coupon discount can be applied to the cart so users can’t scam the system by stacking coupons.):
I have set up 4 different coupon codes for each of 4 different digital products. The discount gets properly applied if a customer purchases each product separately, however if they want to buy all 4 products in one go and apply the appropriate code for each product, WPeStore seems to not allow for that and resets the non discounted price for each product as it gets added to the cart – is this also considered “stacking coupons”? Is there another way of enabling customers to purchase multiple products that are discounted, regardless if they want to buy 2 or 3 or 4 at the same checkout?December 29, 2014 at 4:10 pm in reply to: Coupon Error Message – Cart does not meet the minimum requirement for this coupo #41587
Dear community, apologies for my latest post. In re-reading it, the solution is self explanatory: Instead of Item ID I chose Product ID, so of course the system would be confused! Sorry!December 29, 2014 at 2:45 pm in reply to: Coupon Error Message – Cart does not meet the minimum requirement for this coupo #41586
Hi, setting up coupon codes for 4 different digital products. For one of them the coupon code applies successfully, for the 3 others I am getting the following error message: Cart does not meet the minimum requirement for this coupon!
I cannot figure out what I seem to be doing differently – I am using: 50% discount value, Product Category ID is equal to (Product ID), start day is today´s date, end date is set, coupon shows active.
An example of where the above error shows up is on this page: [http://jevondangeli.com/effortless-weight-loss-or-your-money-back/ coupon code: effortlessweightloss]
I would appreciate your support, you’ve been extremely helpful in the past – thank you.
Success! Thank you for the emotional support, admin and wzp – after the upgrade both buyer and seller email got sent correctly.
Before proceeding to reinstall the plugin, I contacted Paypal again. Here is their reply:
“Those payments where, in general, initiated using a credit card as a funding source in the buyers PayPal account. When the credit card itself denies the funding the already initiated PayPal payment becomes the status “Denied”. Maybe the WordPress plug-in is not able to handle those denied payments. Please contact the WordPress plug-in support again and ask them how to handle them.”
Although I am not convinced about the credit card denying the funding (since the log file posted above produced the same failure message for my test purchase which was done using funds in my other Paypal account and not a credit card) I thought to inform you.
Just to confirm:
Do I understand correctly that once I have been emailed the upgraded eStore version, I can deactivate and delete the current eStore plugin, upload the new version via the “add new” plugin option, activate it and that all product pages will look and work exactly the same than before (incl. all the current settings?).
Thank you wzp – Paypal is insisting that all payments have been completed on their side (which is what my Paypal seller’s account is reflecting) and that the issue is definitely somewhere on our side. I will follow your link now…
Hi wzp, after many successful transactions using eStore on our site jevondangeli.com, we too are experiencing the fact that the emails with digital product links are no longer being sent to the customers. Are you able to assist with the following info? The ipn_handle_debug.log file after my test purchase looks like this:

Thanks wzp, will do so right away.February 24, 2014 at 11:39 am in reply to: List of Plugins that Don't Play Nice (Conflicting Plugins) #21400
Hi, I would be grateful to get help with the following 2 issue that some of our customers are experiencing when trying to sign up for our free videos. Here are the steps to follow:
Issue 1: When hitting SUBMIT after entering the details, a blank page with the same url [http://jevondangeli.com/nlp-vids-registation] appears but no error message is being displayed. This means new subscribers cannot create a username and password and are hence unable to login to get access to the videos.
Issue 2: When hitting SUBMIT after entering their details, some customers experience the following fatal error message:
Full Error Details
Fatal Error (E_ERROR)
Call to undefined function get_plugins()
Thank you in advance for your support.
I am experiencing the same problem: “Sometimes when people try to download the file from eStore, it says the file is corrupt or there is a problem so they can’t open it. But other times it works fine.”
I currently have a frustrated customer who has failed 5 consecutive times to download a file. This customer bought three MP3 products from my website, so the e-Store sent three zip files – all of which are being read as corrupt.
Urget help required, please.
Thanks, but that doesn’t really answer my question… which is whether MailChimp can notify eMember of changes in subscription – not the other way around?
Is that possible, or is it generally a one-way flow of info (ie from eMember TO MailChimp)?
Thanks again.October 15, 2010 at 9:14 am in reply to: Digital download – how to know if file has been downloaded? #24745
I have now updated to a fresh version of the plugin (v4.3., deactivated, reactivated, then tried a download. But it’s still showing no sign of any access count other than 0 in the database.
ThanksOctober 1, 2010 at 3:23 pm in reply to: Digital download – how to know if file has been downloaded? #24743
I tried what was suggested, generating a download link for one of the products. It then appeared in the table, as expected, with value of 0. Then I clicked on the link and downloaded the file, but the value is still showing as 0. All files in that table have an access count of 0 at this point.
Am currently on v 4.1.8 of eStore.

Hi again. Well, perhaps you could suggest it to him for the wishlist.
I found that table as you suggested, and located the download keys. But there’s a snag: the access count shows as “0”, but it does so for every single entry in the table – and it can’t be possible that all entries had no downloads (the site has been going for several months, and has made a number of successful sales). Any ideas why this might be?

Thanks, will give it a try. Any chance of adding something to the plugin that would allow for this kind of functionality without having to poke around in phpMyAdmin?
