Hi there
I am using WP eStore and WP eMember, with auto-subscribe to a MailChimp mailing list. So far so good. What I would like to know, though, is whether it is possible for eMember to be notified by MailChimp, when someone leaves the mailing list, removing them as a member?
Basically, what my client is after is a section that is for members only, but only if those members are subscribed to the mailing list. They unsubscribe – they lose access to the resources sections.
Is this possible? Or would it have to be a manual process… removing members when MailChimp notifies of unsubscribes?
Thanks!
Hi
Thanks, but that doesn’t really answer my question… which is whether MailChimp can notify eMember of changes in subscription – not the other way around?
Is that possible, or is it generally a one-way flow of info (ie from eMember TO MailChimp)?
Thanks again.
Sorry I misunderstood your question. You will have to ask MailChimp if they have a notification feature (that can notify an external script).
