MemberThanks for prompt reply. I have tried the settings mentioned above.
However if i do this then on my checkout page i get one option only in the payment gateway dropdown. eway.
However – paypal button is displayed below this… and clicking on it, takes to paypal checkout, not eway.

MemberHi there, think i found it, defaults pretty much through W3 cache except for JS minify.
Turning off ” Cache Database ” seems to have fixed it!! I am pretty sure that was a default setting??
Will keep testing but looks good at moment!
thanks for your help

MemberHi there, yes have recopied the cookie, cleared caches etc, didn’t have a CRLF at end of setting, but doubt that should make a difference. Still have issue. As above if I turn on W3 Cache Debug it tells me that it hasn’t cached the login page. Could there be a conflict with minify or JS compression etc?
Using v5.7.3 of Emember.
i will fill out the update-request.
thanks

Memberi turned on debug mode in w3 cache so could check source code for pages server. w3 cache indicates it is NOT caching the page, however something it is doing something as if i disable it completly then no login issues. (also have issue on IE, and a different computer with Firefox, so not browser specific)
Any ideas where to look?

Memberjust disabled w3 total cache completely and all works fine on both chrome and firefox.
so appears some conflict there…
have had to re-enable cache as get stroppy emails about cpu use from hosting provider if not running caching!

MemberSpoke too soon, now getting same as before with chrome just taking me to login or join message again. I have W3 total cache installed, with the cookies mentioned excluded. Also have excluded the protected content pages from chache as well.
Any other ideas?

MemberHi, have loaded newer version. I can now log in using Google Chrome – yippeee!
However I can’t log out! The cookie emember_in_use hangs around.
thanks

MemberI changed to using the W3 total cache, huge differences in load times.
I have just started playing with settings for minify and combine Javascripts. this is speeding the page load up dramatically!
Would just add one JS at a time and test….

MemberHi just updated to latest version of chrome, cleared cache and cookies.
However still no go. Login just takes loops me back to login page with no error etc.

MemberMany thanks to Ivy for the prompt and helpful reply, looks like you were right on about conflicts with WP-Super-Cache.
Thanks for the great tech support and for keeping this such a great membership plugin!

Memberhi there,
it is certainly happening, both from same computer using different browsers, ie IE and Firefox and between different computer. I am picking up logins from other users on completely different computers / ip addresses etc.
Are there any PHP settings on our host that could cause this weirdness?
I can email you login id’s etc and sample URL’s so you can replicate.
Thanks

MemberFurther to 1st post, checking the wp_authPsession_tbl I find multiple instances of login / sessions for 1 user. If I delete all rows (using PhpMyadmin) from table, i would expect that the user would not be able to get access again without re logging in….
However this is not the case. Even with the auth table completely empty I can click a protected content link and the fancy login widget tells me I am logged in as another user…
help!!

Memberhi there,

MemberHi Ivy
i think i found the cause. it was the wordpress Flowplayer plugin causing a conflict as it uses jQuery as well. Have change to a video player that doesn’t use jquery and the script errors don’t occur on IE 6 any more.
thanks
