Manually generating a password protected pdf issue.
I am trying to manually generate a stamped pdf with password protection as defined on General PDF Stamper Settings on WP PDF Stamper v4.6.2 integrated with WP eStore.
Stamping and delivery is working perfect for customers via WP eStore with Use Email as Password checked in File Security Settings, for an Enabled PDF File Encryption (Allow Print, Allow Copy) product.
The problema is here.
I try to manually generate a password protected pdf, having previously changed settings to uncheck Use Email as Password, and manually defined a File Password.
Then, clicking the thus manually generated product link, it opens in browser, asks for the password, but upon password insertion, browser reads: File Cannot Be Opened.
File PATH Conversion Method and PDF Stamping Method set as default. In all cases.
So, how do I do to manually generate an encrypted password protected stamped pdf?
Looking forwards to your reply. Thank you so much. I love your products!

astrologiadelafuenteParticipantAssigning mp3 audio files stored on amazons3 to wp-e store payment buttons I ran into this problem when I try to open the following encrypted link
I obtain the following message:
The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request. Please contact the site administrator.
Please tell the site administrator the problem was due to the following reason:
The file (on the server) containing your download couldn’t be opened.
Yet, using the same procedure I do get to download this other encrypted link without any problem
Tried with several other audio files without success.
All file names are properly defined, and in fact they all work fine when streamed directly thru amazons3 onto the website,s audio player.
As far as I can see, the settings are identical on both products, so I cannot fathom what the problem could be.
Please help me as this is really doing my head in.
astrologiadelafuenteParticipantI realised that generating the encrypted Product url had to be done on the admin functions, and then copied thru onto the Product Specific Instructions for Buyer.
(I wasn,t told anywhere, clever me)
can you answer theese questions?
1 – encrypted links are by product only, not by product per customer, Is that correct?
2 – The number of downloads defined within general settings>Digital Product Delivery Settings>Download Limit Count…are global for the Product Link, not per customer
a. Can the number of downloads be defined on a per purchase basis?
b. Is the duration of the Download Link defined globally or on a per purchase basis?
astrologiadelafuenteParticipantI have a problem in that a Product Specific Return url is not working, on test purchase I am redirected to the Return url defined in General Settings.
In the product 19 I defined the Return url in the second to last dropdown called Buy Now or Subscription Type Button specific settings >return url
Please confirm that that is in fact the correct location
Another problem is that I am unable to get after two test purchases to any link encrypted or not to the Downloadable Digital Product url (If checked the digital content will be offered as an anonymous download (the customer won’t know where it is coming from).
Where are the customers supposed to get the encrypted url?
In the email I have defined and they receive after purchase under Product Specific Instructions for Buyer?
I have tried with theese in the email instructions and did not work
{product_details}
{product_specific_instructions}
Or where else?
