That doesn’t look right. I will send you an email to get site access so I can check it out.
amin007ParticipantIf the plugin says that the Password has been sent then that means it did send the email. If the email will arrive in your inbox or not depends on a lot of other factors. This post will explain:
amin007ParticipantPayPal support tech won’t be able to help you in this instance because it is not an issue with PayPal.
I don’t know why you used the following in the first place because this is not what the documentation says:
custom-subsc_ref=4
The documetnation says to use the following (can you see the difference? there is no hyphen):
custom=subsc_ref=4
You will save yourself a lot of time and hassle if you calm down and follow the instruction exactly as it says. I am sure you have followed the documentation but if you pay more attention you will see the mistake.
You can actually copy and paste this line from the documentation so there is no chance of making any mistake.
August 11, 2011 at 1:29 am in reply to: Any way to add search to the Import WP Users function? #35381amin007ParticipantWe will look into adding a search option in the import WP user tab.
amin007ParticipantI had a look and it looks like you have customized the affiliate view area heavily. We cannot troubleshoot on a customized version of the plugin because we do not know what error you may have introduced in the code. We can only help you get the plugin to work as we give it to you (not fix coding mistakes that you introduce).
Please load a fresh build of the plugin from here then let me know with the details again and I will jump on your site to check a few things.
amin007ParticipantYou can do this using digital variation. Please read the following documentation which should help (check the “Variation Control for Digital products” section)
amin007ParticipantYes, eMember can work alone with Plain PayPal Button. The following documentation will explain how to set it up with PayPal button:
How to Use a Simple PayPal Payment Button to Accept Membership Payment
Just remember that sandbox email addresses are dummy email where real emails can’t get routed to. So if you are making a purchase with your sandbox account you can’t expect to get any real email sent by the plugin since that email address actually does not exist.
You can turn on debug and check the debug log to see what the plugin did after you did the sandbox purchase. This post will explain more on debug:
amin007ParticipantNo, there is no way to setup more than 2 people for a single product.
amin007ParticipantI see what you want. No, just by placing the images in eStore’s download folder won’t give you any protection. You only get eStore’s file protection when the file is downloaded via eStore’s encrypted download system. The images that are displayed in the NextGen gallery does not have any kind of protection. This is something you will have to ask the NextGen Gallery developer and see if there is any option. We don’t have any control over how the NextGen Gallery renders images.
WP eMember is mainly concerned about protecting the WordPress content (posts, pages, comments etc). It doesn’t know or care about any media you have placed on a page. You can add protection for your media files by using eStore and eMember together using the technique explained here:
The above method does not apply to the NextGen Gallery situation you are using.
August 10, 2011 at 7:57 am in reply to: Rendering of Template Gallery Failed Error – WP eStore + NextGen Gallery #35358amin007ParticipantOkay… I sent you an email to get site access so I can check it out.
August 10, 2011 at 7:51 am in reply to: Is it possible to display totally random products from a category? #35360amin007ParticipantThere is no option to show a random product but it is possible to add a shortcode that shows a random product from a category. I can do a custom job for you if you are interested. Please contact me using the contact form if you are interested and I will give you a quote based on your requirements:
August 10, 2011 at 7:49 am in reply to: member cancels during trial period get another trial if signs up again? #35344amin007ParticipantNope, subscription agreements are not very simple so you can’t relate a trial period from another subscription
What you can do is offer “Subscription” buttons without any trial period to your existing members to upgrade or reactivate the plan. These buttons will only be available to members (meaning they already had a trial period thing before) and when they pay using this button it just starts a regular subscription without any trial period (obviously you new visitors won’t be able to use these buttons to signup as these buttons will be protected and only available to existing members).
August 10, 2011 at 7:45 am in reply to: Carrying Over the Affiliate ID to Other Pages (Different WordPress Install) #34334amin007ParticipantYes, the affiliate cookie will get carried nicely in your case.
So, to summarize it…
1. Affiliates will send potential customers to the following landing page:
Affiliate clicks will be tracked at this stage by the satellite plugin
2. The visitor can click on the link to go to the following page (this is a different WordPress install):
The affiliate cookie is still present on this page
3. The visitor makes a purchase from this page and after the purchase the commission will be awarded by the main affiliate plugin installed on the following site:
amin007ParticipantYou issue a refund from your PayPal account. Pull up the transaction in question from your PayPal’s transaction history page and hit the “Issue Refund” link. When you do this PayPal will notify eStore automatically and the rest will be taken care of.
PayPal has lots of helpful documentation on how to issue a refund to your customer.
amin007ParticipantYes, resetting the log file and keeping them on is a good idea. This will allow you to track the issue if it happens again. It is also a good idea to update eStore too since you updated eMember.
