MemberI have a member who canceled within the 14day trial. He wants to sign up again but is once again given the 14 day trial. is there any way to make it so the trial would not apply to a user who has already signed up an canceled as they have already used the service?

ParticipantIf the member makes the payment while logged into the site, the plugin will know that an account already exists for this user and it will simply reactivate that account. If he/she makes the payment as an anonymous user then the plugin won’t be able to mysteriously determine that an account exists and it will assume that this is a payment for a new account:

MemberI looks like he made the payment while logged in because his account was reactivated.
But i see the issue:
he initially signed up for the plan with monthly billing, used the trial and canceled.
he then came back and bought the quarterly billing plan which is a different product number. That is why his 14day trial started over again.
Is there any way to link products together if they are similar so the system knows not to reinstate the trial if they purchase from the same product “family” per se?

ParticipantNope, subscription agreements are not very simple so you can’t relate a trial period from another subscription
What you can do is offer “Subscription” buttons without any trial period to your existing members to upgrade or reactivate the plan. These buttons will only be available to members (meaning they already had a trial period thing before) and when they pay using this button it just starts a regular subscription without any trial period (obviously you new visitors won’t be able to use these buttons to signup as these buttons will be protected and only available to existing members).
