I’m trying to set up the final details for my client so she can launch her new book! I love this plugin but am having issues with 2 things.

    1. I created 2 lists in Mailchimp. One for those who purchased her book, and a second list for those who downloaded the free copy. However, neither one of those lists are getting automatically updated when someone buys or downloads the free version. How can I have each list be updated when someone buys or downloads the book? I only see one area in the settings to add a Mailchimp list.

    2. I went through and read other threads on this forum. I went it and checked the debug option and got the info below. However, I’m having trouble telling what it means. What does “Code 90” mean?

    Hi,

If you are using the eStore plugin on its own there are a few things you need to check.

    1) In the eStore settings page in the “Autoresponder Settings” section make sure you have filled in your list details and username/password and enabled the checkbox “Use MailChimp Autoresponder”.

    2) In each of your products’ configuration settings there is an “Autoresponder Settings” section. In there you can specify your particular listname for that product. This will override the global list name in the settings page.

Also please see this post for on troubleshooting autoresponder issues.

I think it’s a problem with your API key, as described in @peter’s referenced post, and also in…

    I think I’m halfway there.

I have a paid product and free download version of the same product. I set the “MailChimp List Name” in the general autoresponders settings area to a specific list (it goes to the paid product purchasers, titled “book purchasers”). In my settings for the free download version, I added a new list in “autoresponder setttings” which has the same name as my Mailchimp list (“Free ebook offer”). However, when someone signs up for the free download version, they get put into the Mailchimp list called “book purchasers” list.

Ideally I’d like to have the people who pay for the product go into my Mailchimp list for “book purchasers” and those that get the free download version (I send this out to a friends and family) I’d like to go into the Mailchimp list for “Free ebook offer”.

I’m not really sure what else to do. I’m getting the same error code, but not sure how to fix it. I have specified which lists I want.

    FAILURE : Code=-90

FAILURE : Msg=You must specify a id value for the listSubscribe

According to Mailchimp the problems with -90 are below, which I have no idea what they mean:

    -90 XML_RPC2_Exception

    -90 XML_RPC2_FaultException

I’ve also disabled a Mailchimp plugin that seems to cause conflicts, according to these forums.

    Any further ideas?

    Hi,

    Ok let’s try this.

Can you please try loading a fresh copy of the plugin as per:

Re-install or Load a Fresh Copy of the Plugin(s)

    Then try again.

Let me know how that goes.

After you do what Peter suggested please setup this test scenario so we can get more debug data which will point out the issue:
