Hi, In eStore, I have enabled getresponse as autoresponder…with its correct API. API is turned on in getresponse… the suscription list is configured as per product basis…in the product settings, autoresponder section.
1) I have made a purchase and log says that all is OK… but contact is NOT being added to the getresponse list.
2) It could not be the problem of the duplicated email address… (re-issued) since the getresponse list is NEW.
3) The getresponse campaign is SET to NOT DOUBLE OPT-IN…so, getresponse suppose to add the contact immediately….
4) But, in any case…supposing that getresponse must send a confirmation email…IT IS NOT IN THE INBOX EITHER IN SPAM FOLDER… SO SUSCRIPTION IS NOT BEING PERFORMED.
I am pasting here the EStore PostPayment log…

July 20, 2012 at 10:38 pm #47572adminKeymastereStore is failing to complete the full GetResponse signup process. When it completes successfully you are suppose to see the following message in the debug:
GetResponse contact added
This symptom usually means that the eStore code has been tinkered with which is why that part of the code is broken. Please do the following then test it out again without making any changes to the plugin code:

July 20, 2012 at 11:41 pm #47573julius732003MemberHi, I HAVE NEVER TOUCH THE PLUGIN Code… however, I updated the plugin as you told me and performed another test. Same problem… getresponse does not have the contact added.
I have checked the API Key…API Key at getresponse is turned on, I changed the suscription to another different campaign “mueblesantheus”… and persist the issue!!
July 21, 2012 at 12:24 am #47574julius732003MemberHi…for your knowledgebase and comments… I noted that my PAYPAL name is Julio ALejandro Ortega Abadía (in the “i” is an spanish character “accent”) seems to be the problem..
I performed another test with different name without this character and it works fine!!
What do you think?
July 21, 2012 at 4:52 am #47575adminKeymasterThere is no need to scream with capital letters please (we can read normal text fine).
The GetResponse API doesn’t like names with accented characters (example, Julio ALejandro Ortega Abadía) which is why its failing to add your name to the list. I have sent you an email to get access to your site so I can test a few things with the setup you have and see what I can do.
February 11, 2013 at 12:53 am #47576gsnataMemberHello, I am having an issue with GetResponse. I have inserted my campaign name into each product (set up a test product with a test campaign name also).
When I run my test, the payment goes thru paypal fine (i get my confimation emails as well as customer emails) but the auto email from Getresponse does not go to customer and customer is not logged into my Getresponse account campaign.. Why?? I have set up according to the instructions and placed [campaignname@Getresponse.com] into the field box on the product page. Funny thing is, the webforms on my website work perfectly.
here is the debug file:

[02/11/2013 12:39 AM] – FAILURE :Could not retrieve campaign ID. Please double check your GetResponse Campaign Name:[test500@GetResponse.com]
Am I missing something?? Please advise
Thank you
February 11, 2013 at 10:59 pm #47577adminKeymasterHi, You have entered the following campaign name in the eStore configuration which is wrong:
[test500@GetResponse.com]
You can find your campaign name in your GetResponse account. Your campaign name should be something like the following:
test500
Find out where you have entered the campaign name and correct it (edit the product in question and check the name again)
Here is the documentation for setting up GetResponse with eStore:

May 16, 2014 at 1:46 pm #47578DigbickParticipantHell, I have the same problem as Julius. Customers with accents in their names don’t get added to the campaign.
My customers are french speaking so there are à lot of names like Stpéhane, Cédric, Rémy…
Help me out, because I realise this is a serious problem…
Thanks in advance.
May 17, 2014 at 12:21 am #47579adminKeymasterYou shouldn’t have an issue with this if all the setup is correct. What version of the plguin are you using?
I have a feeling your PayPal account is not set to send data in UTF-8 format. Please do the following (if you haven’t already):
May 17, 2014 at 9:56 am #47580DigbickParticipantYou were right, in PayPal it was set to windows-1252. I changed it to UTF-8 as described in your procedure.
My eStore version is v5.9.9.6.
Thanks for the support.
May 17, 2014 at 11:51 pm #47581adminKeymasterOkay that change should help. You should also do the following:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
May 18, 2014 at 12:11 pm #47582DigbickParticipantDo I have to update it? Because my current version is a customized one. I paid you 25$ for the customization. And if I update I’ll lose the customization. So, is it necessary or not?
May 18, 2014 at 11:47 pm #47583adminKeymasterIf it is working fine after you made that change in PayPal then no need to update.
