I did change the form address to “<form action=”https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr” but it still wants to default to the US page settings. I will look into this as it’s a bit strange. We have another stand alone donate button generated through PayPal code and it defaults to the UK page and has the same form address as above. Sure it’s something simple.
webwitchMemberThanks for your reply Ivy. I have checked the language settings in my browser and it is UK en. However, it still takes me to the US paypal page even though we a uk paypal email address. It’s not the end of the world but it would be nice to open the paypal page at the UK setting and to be able to overide the default setting.
webwitchMemberI would like my paypal checkout page to default to the UK as this is where our buyers are situated. Funnily enough when we first set up the account, the page did do this but now it defaults to the US page. It just means that our users then have to choose the UK from the pull-down menu.
Do you know how I could set it so that the UK appears as the default in the paypal checkout page?
Thank you.

I think the problem might be with WP Cache as I was also having problems with password protected pages that weren’t working. I have now deleted WP Cache and it seems to have solved the password problem and also the shopping cart problem. I will carry on testing it and see what happens. I will also check with my host that the PHP session is turned on and working properly as you suggest.
Thanks for your help.
webwitchMemberThank you.
webwitchMemberYes, thank you. We finally found the sign up button after hours of going round in circles.
webwitchMemberThanks for your reply. Sorry to ask such a simple question but we were having problems trying to sign up for a paypal account and going round the houses.
Cheers.
