Oh thank you so much for your help! And in less than a day, too. It really is much appreciated. I’ll set to work!
vickihollettMemberThought it might help if I got more specific…
I can’t work out why:
1. The ‘Terms and conditions’ text doesn’t align with the check box on my squeeze page [http://www.store.simpleenglishvideos.com/free-materials/] The short code I’m using is [wp_eStore_ssf id=57 template “1”] . No matter what I change the template number to, it looks the same.
2. There is a ‘Huge Domains’ ad on this page [http://www.store.simpleenglishvideos.com/success/] The short code I’m using is [wp_eStore_download_now_button id=57]
Really like your plug and would appreciate any help you can give,
Thanks a lot, Vicki
vickihollettMemberHi,
I am having the same problem – extra short codes don’t show up in the drop down menu, but I haven’t found a solution elsewhere in the forum. I’ve downloaded and activated the extra shortcodes plug in – but only the original, basic shortcodes are showing.
Something else I think might be related – when I add a ‘download now’ short code, ( [wp_eStore_download_now_button id=XX] ) rather than a button I get what looks like an advertisement for ‘Huge Domains dot com’ showing up. At first I thought, golly, I must have a virus, but my antivirus and anti malware software are throwing up nothing. And this is the only program that seems to be having problems… Any ideas?
Many thanks!
vickihollettMemberYou’re brilliant! It was an extra space! Thank you so much – we’re up and running now!
vickihollettMemberAfter completing an order, a PayPal screen appears saying customers will be directed back to the site within 15 seconds. The url it tries to access is
[http://store.simpleenglishvideos.com/thank-you/%20%E2%80%8E?tx=8PF02289H6445872C&st=Completed&amt=0%2e01&cc=USD&cm=ip%3d68%2e32%2e2%2e151&item_number=]
It throws up a 404 error. However, the first part of the url (up to thank you) is correct.
I also get a 404 error when I set the address at PayPal and within wp-estore to
[www.store.simpleenglishvideos/thank-you/]
I contacted PayPal thinking it must be an error there. However, they seem to think the problem is the button I am using. So I am wondering whether I need to be using PayPal’s tools to create a shopping cart button. Any help you can give will be much appreciated.
vickihollettMemberYes, I had already done that. Under ‘General Image and Page URL settings’ in wp-estore, I have the return url set to my thank you page.
