I cleared the browser cache, it still didn’t work. I loaded Firefox in private browsing mode. The login form came right up, so I suspect it has something to do with the cookie not clearing correctly. To test my theory, I deleted the cookie from my domain. The login form appeared immediately. I logged in, but could not log out again. I’m running a WPMU environment. Is there anything you are doing with cookies that might not work quite right in a MU environment?
vfontjrMemberThere’s no difference. W3cache was setup correctly. I had the required entries in the rejected cookies field. I deactivated W3Cache and tried to logout while the plugin was disabled. It didn’t work. I can’t get the userid to logout and return to the login screen while in Firefox. Maybe it’s the browser iteself. I’m on 6.01. Matbe something’s not set right.
vfontjrMemberNevermind. I figured it out. A previous update to pdfstamper turned off the encryption flag. You can bet I’ll be checking things more thoroughly after updating.
vfontjrMemberIn fact, my orginal file was sent out with any security whatsoever. What gives?
September 2, 2011 at 2:22 am in reply to: WP eStore – Payment Verification Failed when receiving pymnts from other sources #36105vfontjrMemberI can’t remove the url. Paypal won’t allow me to save the settings without it.
vfontjrMemberI ended up writing my own code to display the directory. I use the ThickBox functionality built into WordPress to display the popup user details. I no longer display userid on the page. I show name, email address and phone number. The email address is also hyperlinked with a “mailto” feature. If anyone wants the code or read how I did this, please visit my blog: http://wp.me/p1cwOP-bf.
vfontjrMemberSince it’s an absolute requirement for my membership, I’ll have to modify it myself or find another plugin that allows the option.
vfontjrMemberI’ve been asked by our membership to show the phone field inside the table in addition to the four current fields. Our group is composed of c-level executives. They want to look at the table and see the phone number when they want to call someone.
vfontjrMemberNo. On the page created with this shortcode: [wp_eMember_public_user_list:end]
vfontjrMemberThat would be absolutely perfect!
vfontjrMemberThanks! I sent this to the host and am awaiting a response.
vfontjrMemberThank you!
vfontjrMemberOne of my customers bought an ebook last week and never downloaded the files. The encrypted links expired after 24 hours. Since then I fixed a typo in the book. When he requested new links today, I can easily create new encrypted links for the non-stamped content, but there’s no way to do it for the stamped content. I manually stamped the corrected book, but there’s no way to add a password to a manually stamped book set to the customer’s email address. I want to be able to do it through Adobe Acrobat when I need to. That’s the use case.
vfontjrMemberI doubt that there is unless you somehow collected the information before sending it to Paypal, but I don’t know. I wanted to have the address in the stamp as well but settled for:
“This copy of The Ultimate Guide to the SDLC is licensed to [buyer-name]. Email address: [buyer-email-address]”
You may need to settle.
vfontjrMemberNot true. If you go to my website and click the buy now button, the sales email address displays, not the primary. The purchaser never sees my primary. But then again, I do have a business account. I haven’t had a personal account in about 7 years.
