I believe this would work fine if you were just selling and using their thank you page as it did record the sale, however I’m also using WishList, so that requires they go to a specific thank you page for registration.
However I might be able just to set something up so they are sent for registration from an email they receive. I’ll have to test further. I’m sure this would work for single sales. I’ve now learned that no matter what 1ShoppingCart can not pay out commission on a monthly recurring sale.
Thanks!
uNeedStuffSpectatorI have found a place where I can place a script into the head section of the thank you page. Could this be used to connect the affiliate system with 1Shopping cart?
Here is a link to the information:
uNeedStuffSpectatorHi jfkindc, just goto: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
And you can request an update.
You can find the version numbers here: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/version-info
uNeedStuffSpectatorYep he was referring to the order notice email.
uNeedStuffSpectatorI’m wondering if it would be better to set it somehow through the Wishlist plugin, as we also accept PayPal payments.
I’m sure they are referring to sending a receipt, but I will ask.
Thanks!
uNeedStuffSpectatorThis is the response:
Regrettably, while our system does work with many third party applications, we do not actively support them. You CAN set the system to send you a notification upon purchase, but I do not personally know how you would integrate your wordpress plugin.
uNeedStuffSpectatorI’ve sent in your questions. Also can this be handled from the page they end up on after purchase? We are currently using WishList, so I’m wondering if I could put the code into their registration page.
Thanks!
uNeedStuffSpectatorHi I was looking for information on this as well. I’m not sure if this was where this left off or if it’s been done yet. 1ShoppingCart does have an api
http://api.1shoppingcart.com/index.php?title=Main_Page
Is that what you need to be able to make this happen?
Thanks!
uNeedStuffSpectatorI’m now getting errors so I’m going to have to do a full restore. I’ll let you know, once I know if everything is working. All tags and categories have been removed from all the posts. I’m not sure when exactly this happened, or what caused it.
uNeedStuffSpectatorNo, I was using a role plugin, I’ve now uninstalled that, and will be doing another run through. I’ll let you know if that was the issue. Although eMember was showing the role I created and I assigned the restriction based on level, so I don’t know whay that would have caused it. I’ll let you know if it is still an issue.
uNeedStuffSpectatorThis is some type of bug. It’s related to the expiration date.
1st I did as you asked, and edited the date to tomorrow, and it returned “Discount applied successfully!”
2nd I removed the date of expiration, and it returned “Maximum coupon redemption limit reached!”
So it’s somehow only reading the date as valid and applying the coupon. When the date field is blank it’s reading the redemption limit. However these and not mutually exclusive but need to work in conjunction. I need the sale (coupon) to end on x date, and I only want the 1st x to be able to use it.
February 21, 2011 at 3:44 pm in reply to: Can I require or make mandatory the Collect Customer Input field? #28896uNeedStuffSpectatorThanks, this was 1/2 of what I was just searching for. Is there a way to make the box bigger? Or allow it to accept more text?
uNeedStuffSpectatorThis is has started happening again. I’m almost positive it was working for a while, but it’s only almost as we are adding members manually and through purchases. I know when I’m adding them manually it assigns the correct role, however when they follow through the registration process it’s assigns None to the WP role.
uNeedStuffSpectatorSorry, had to stop working on these sites, and get to a few other things. The version is 5.7.3.
uNeedStuffSpectatorFYI the .htaccess can be in the main folder and it will stop all folders from displaying.
You can open the one that is installed with WP and below what is already in there just type: Options -Indexes
You should also protect the folder from being indexed by search engines or at least the ones that obey the rules with a robots.txt
