Possible bug for the redemption limit. I created a coupon code for testing purposes at 99% off and set the limit to 1. I forgot that I had set it to one and used it again and the sale went through. Should it have stopped me from using it again?
I just got the update today so I’m sure I’m using the latest version. 5.0.4
I made a screen shot of the columns showing the limit and the count, if you want to see it here: [http://uneedstuff.com/images/estore-bug.gif]

March 21, 2011 at 12:49 pm #30423uNeedStuffSpectatorThis is some type of bug. It’s related to the expiration date.
1st I did as you asked, and edited the date to tomorrow, and it returned “Discount applied successfully!”
2nd I removed the date of expiration, and it returned “Maximum coupon redemption limit reached!”
So it’s somehow only reading the date as valid and applying the coupon. When the date field is blank it’s reading the redemption limit. However these and not mutually exclusive but need to work in conjunction. I need the sale (coupon) to end on x date, and I only want the 1st x to be able to use it.

September 12, 2012 at 9:35 pm #30425sixtyorbMemberI am using wp e store version 6.3.0. I don’t know if that’s the latest version or not. However, I have the same issue with the redemption limit not calculating correctly. If I set a limit of 2, it lets more than 2 codes be used. I see that you fixed this issue in the new build that was posted over a year ago. I believe I’ve updated in the past year, so I would think this issue would be resolved in my 6.3.0 version. Please let me know how to remedy this issue. Thanks!
September 13, 2012 at 1:33 am #30426adminKeymasterYep, you shouldn’t see this issue. However, it is a good idea to download a fresh copy of the plugin now:

One thing to understand is that the redemption limit will only be updated if the customer actually completes the transaction and makes the payment. Just coming to the site and using the codes but then abandoning the cart won’t update those redemption count. Makes sense?
September 13, 2012 at 4:29 pm #30427sixtyorbMemberI downloaded and installed the latest version that you emailed last night. I ran a test just now on my site where I set up 5 discounts and made the expiration date for todays date, so it would be valid through today. 11 sales went through. It is not working correctly.
September 13, 2012 at 4:34 pm #30428sixtyorbMemberActually, 9 sales went through with the discount, not 11. However, on the coupon section of the e-store, it only shows that 7 codes were used.
September 14, 2012 at 6:32 am #30429adminKeymasterCan you please share the content of the debug file (ipn_handle_debug.log) from your transaction so I can see what happened with those transactions.
If you don’t know how to enable debug in the plugin then this post will help:
