Yes, and I said that’s not an option for me as this applies to a very small subset. I thought there would be a way to pass the shipping along as part of the total.

I’m offering gift certificates for the exact price of an item that includes shipping in the US, but not international. Someone from Finland won the gift certificate and she was never charged shipping. Is there another solution besides adding instructions to the manual checkout process? I’m afraid they won’t read the email and then I’ll be stuck.

I’m going to set up a test tonight and see if it is indeed that “general” email that it uses (it’s the only place that I could find the address that it sent the email to! I’ll let you know.

We’re using paypal. Until you pointed that out to me, the box was empty.

Yes, but it sent out two emails already and there was nothing in the box. (I didn’t realize I had to set it up that way) I was trying to figure out why it sent it to where it did. The only place where the address was that it sent the email to was in the general box of WordPress. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything else. I don’t have manual checkout checked, do I need it to be so?

Thanks for the reply! I don’t have that checked, though – or is that something that it refers to automatically with the gift certificate plugin?
