Which email does the addon use to send out notifications when something is purchased with a gift certificate? (and doesn’t go to paypal?) Right now they are going to my developer and the only place that I can find her email is on the general settings page. Is this the email that it uses? If not, which one?
Thanks,
Shari
WP eStore –> Settings –> Payment Gateway Settings –> Manual/Offline Checkout Settings –> Notification Email Address for Seller
Thanks for the reply! I don’t have that checked, though – or is that something that it refers to automatically with the gift certificate plugin?
Didn’t you want to know where to set the notification email, for the Manual Gateway?
Yes, but it sent out two emails already and there was nothing in the box. (I didn’t realize I had to set it up that way) I was trying to figure out why it sent it to where it did. The only place where the address was that it sent the email to was in the general box of WordPress. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything else. I don’t have manual checkout checked, do I need it to be so?
When a user purchase via gift certificate, the email is sent to the address you specified in the “Notification Email Address” field (under the Email Settings menu). Which payment gateway are you using?
We’re using paypal. Until you pointed that out to me, the box was empty.
…when something is purchased with a gift certificate? (and doesn’t go to paypal?)
That was the confusion that led me to believe you were using the Manual Gateway.
I’m going to set up a test tonight and see if it is indeed that “general” email that it uses (it’s the only place that I could find the address that it sent the email to! I’ll let you know.
