Sorry, I should have written in my first post that I have made a couple of test transactions, plus queried three actual buyers. No download link has ever showed. “Enable transaction result display” has always been checked.

Also, I should say that I do not have Downloadable clicked on the product settings; that doesn’t work for me, perhaps because I have large files. The error message said something about space. I don’t care about this, it’s okay for my buyers to see the actual url.

Re my problem above at http://eurocanals.com/BuyGuides/ and wpCommerce reply, auto-redirect is on at PayPal. My buyers (I am successfully selling, by the way, this is just a nuisance problem) report that they are redirected to my thank you page but that the download link does not appear. They do receive the link by email, however the delay is sometimes so long that they contact me before it arrives.

I have a similar problem on http://eurocanals.com/BuyGuides/

I am using Add to Cart with transaction result code on my Thank You page and the Downloadable box is not checked. Is the latter option preventing the download link from showing on my Thank You page?

I did check the Downloadable box but it only led to error pages, so I abandoned it. In my case it is not important to hide the real file name.
