I have a return URL specified that contains the [wp_eStore_transaction_result:end] code.
I have a Digital Product URL entered (which is a page containing an SMS enrollment form) and the Downloadable box isn’t checked.
PayPal generates a return to site button which loads the return URL but there’s no link produced by the short code.
You can see this at http://www.mytextspirationals.com/subscriptions/ by purchasing the General Inspiration subscription (it’s set up with a 15 day free trial).

August 3, 2010 at 2:40 pm #21575tomsomMemberI have a similar problem on http://eurocanals.com/BuyGuides/
I am using Add to Cart with transaction result code on my Thank You page and the Downloadable box is not checked. Is the latter option preventing the download link from showing on my Thank You page?
I did check the Downloadable box but it only led to error pages, so I abandoned it. In my case it is not important to hide the real file name.
Thanks, Tom
August 3, 2010 at 10:59 pm #21576wpCommerceModeratorDo you have auto-redirect turned on in your Paypal profile?
August 3, 2010 at 11:16 pm #21577suzanneMemberI’m not getting Paypal to communicate back to wp Estore to have the codes produced for downloads or thank you emails sent out? Does the plugin not work for a non business paypal account?
August 4, 2010 at 12:23 am #21578IvyMemberHi, Are the emails getting sent out after the purchase? If not please turn the debug on and do a test transaction. The following post will explain more about how to do this:
If you need help reading the debug log please post it so we can take a look at it.
If the debug log is empty please also see the following post:
What to do if the Debug file is empty or New Debug info is not getting added
Let me know how it goes. If this does not solve your issue then we will need to take a closer look at your site.
August 4, 2010 at 2:28 am #21579MichaelSpectatorHi,
Is there any reason why the download link would appear on my post-payment return page using Mozilla Fire Fox, however when I use the dreaded IE, the link does not appear after post payment.

August 4, 2010 at 7:39 pm #21582tomsomMemberRe my problem above at http://eurocanals.com/BuyGuides/ and wpCommerce reply, auto-redirect is on at PayPal. My buyers (I am successfully selling, by the way, this is just a nuisance problem) report that they are redirected to my thank you page but that the download link does not appear. They do receive the link by email, however the delay is sometimes so long that they contact me before it arrives.
August 5, 2010 at 12:22 am #21583wpCommerceModerator@tomsom, If you have auto-redirect turned on Paypal won’t post the data on the “Thank You” page (But your customer will receive the download link via email though). So if you want to show the transaction result (e.g download link) on the “Thank You” page you need to turn off the auto-redirection in your Paypal profile.
August 5, 2010 at 12:27 am #21584wpCommerceModerator@kangaman, hmm doesn’t look like you are using a Caching plugin. We need to take a closer look at your site. I will send you a site access request via email. Please let me know if you don’t receive the email.
August 5, 2010 at 12:51 am #21585MichaelSpectatorHi WP-C,
Got the email and have sent the request.
Did various live test transactions, could not quite see what the problem could be.
Double checked PayPal settings and all OK.
August 5, 2010 at 1:10 am #21586MichaelSpectatorHi,
Wait!!!
I just did another test today and now the link appears.
The process has changed from yesterday, when test purchasing yesterday the was a different process with ie, (a bit like light box windows were being used for palpal process)
When I did a test purchase just then the light box windows were not in use.
August 5, 2010 at 2:15 am #21587wpCommerceModeratorglad to hear that it’s working for you now.
