Its all free membership. All we’ll need to so is let people register, get a record of their info, and in that email thats sent out back to them we’ll send them a new user discount. So we’re going to be using the plug-in in a fairly modest way on this site. So far the plugin has failed to send en email to me as the sender notifying me of a user registering even though that email address is filled in. It has sent the email out to the new user, after some more testing last night. I have the field filled in for being notified by email after a new user registers and this isn’t happening for some reason. Not in spam filter either so I’m just wondering if I need to check something else off or something?

tiatridisMemberHey following up with something else as well, I see theres a new plug in WP payment Gateway which allows for using Paypal Pro available to users who have purchased the Estore plug in already. My client has decided if he can’t check out right on the website that we need to use a different cart solution. I very much want to stay with Estore. How can I buy a copy of the additional plug-in?
tiatridisMemberHi,
Thanks for the follow up. Thanks for updating the simple cart solution as well, I’ll download the update shortly. It occurs to me by the way the way around giving him his ‘new user discount’ is to have the coupon code become available during the registration process, change it once a week or so, and have the coupon expire within a week or so each time. So the new user discount is available for a limited amount of time rather just the once. And yes, people will absolutely re-register and get around that, he already has the happening on another site.
But now as always seems to happen, the client has made a request I can’t honor in that now he wants to use the Pay Pal Pro interface which doesn’t leave the website during checkout. I see from your forums you are going to implement this eventually, is there a time frame on that? If it’s soon I’ll talk him into waiting on that. If not I’ll have to use another solution for him. I’m sure I’ll use your excellent product on another site though soon enough wither way.
Thanks again for your prompt attention.

tiatridisMemberBy the way, on another topic but maybe easier for you to just type it here. The redemption limit of the coupons? That seems to be the total number of times a coupon can be used. I need to set a coupon that can be used one time only by each user, can the system accomplish this? A new user discount as a reward for registering.
tiatridisMemberOk, so how do you change it then so it show the total quantity in the simple cart, not just the unique items?

tiatridisMemberHi,
Yes it does update on the checkout page but…I was hoping to not have to redirect to the checkout page every time an item is clicked. If you look at the number of items in the simple sidebar cart on the product pages after multiples of the same item are added the simple cart adds only one item for each individual product that is added more then once by press add to cart. Follow me?
Tks,
Tony
tiatridisMemberYes I am. This site is as I mentioned in my other post is under development and its is parked at http://www.underweardog.com. At present the menu Anti Aging Skin Care is functional. When you press the add to cart button a second time on any given product it doesn’t add another item in the simple cart sidebar. In other words if you click the same button 3 times it only counts once there, thought it does update in the main cart. I’ve set the site to go to the shopping cart after each button click for now for this reason, obviously if the simple cart sidebar only counts unique items I can’t use it. However, I think I must be seeing a glitch of some sort. I am using the sandbox test mode within Paypal but I doubt that makes a difference to the sidebar functionality which is prior to checkout.
Thanks,
Tony

This site is under development and parked currently on a URL i’m not using, underweardog.com. Could it be that I am using Paypal’s sandbox (test) mode causing the problems?
