I found what I needed. I looked a little deeper:

Is there a way to have it integrated? Can I hire a programmer to do it?

In a wpmu set up, if the affiliate plugin is running on a seperate site inside the wpmu set up, can I still send people to the main site and trigger the affiliate? Since they are on the same domain? Or does it have to go to the site that has the plugin installed. I’ve experienced conflicts with your plugin, so I have it running on its own sub-site in a wpmu set up for payments only.

As I understand it, the redirect link has to be done on a case by case basis, right? I can’t have it in the manage ads section with automatic affiliate code insertion. Is this correct?

Wanting to do this but offer the links in the affiliate ads area. Is it possible to use a plugin like “page-links-to” to do the redirect? That is, create a dummy post on the site where the affiliate program resides then have “page-links-to” redirect to the external site?

In my situation I am actually putting my affiliate plugin on a sub-site of the main WP site because the plugin conflicts with the theme I am using. So, I have a WPMU set up with the main site having the content and the subsite having the payment gateway. In the payment site I have WP E-store and wp-affiliate running. Can I send people to the main site with the normal affiliate code, or do I have to redirect through the sub-site? To be clear, the affiliate plugin is not activated on the main site. It is activated on the sub-site but the plugin files are in the normal plugins folder for the whole site.

The “page-links-to” plugin sounds like an easy fix and I could use it for any redirect. Let me know if you think it will work.

    Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the links but I’ve tried four of those already. Same problem. It’s a confflict with the Elegant Theme. I don’t know what else it could be. Everything works with Twenty Ten.

Worth mentioning…I really like Elegant themes. But just in case, can you recommend a good theme company?

I’ve lost too much sleep over this. Your plugins are not replaceable.

What’s happening is really strange. I’m using an Elegant Theme’s theme. If I switch to Twenty-ten, everything works. So the problem is in the theme. Here’s the strange part. There are varying degrees of what works when, like can’t make menu or can’t add any more plugins, etc, but there is one thing I have found out.

Take three elements…Theme, AddtoAny, Affiliate. In every situation, only two work together. Meaning,

AddtoAny & Affiliate with Twenty Ten theme? works…

    Elegant Theme with affiliate plugin…works

    Elegant Theme with AddtoAny plugin…works.

Put Elegant Theme, AddtoAny, and Affiliate together = problems. I have no idea why.

    Another quick question…little different.

If Affiliate customer buys product and puts in their affiliate id will they get credited as the affiliate for the sale, or does your plugin recognize the same paypal account and not reward the affiliate commission?

    Thanks.

I think I understand but I want to clarify to make sure.

You are talking about the “Commission Level” on the Affiliate details page. I thought that was for products that don’t have a specific commission level entered. I’m now assuming it is for that as well as the commission level if they are entered as a revenue sharing affiliate for a product. Is that correct?

What if they are also the referrer to the product? Will they get the revenue share as well as the commission for linking someone over?

Example: Product specific Affiliate(for any affiliate) commission is 20%. Revenue Share for Affiliate (Affiliate is set up as 25% in their account). If the Revenue share affiliate sends someone from their site. Will they get 45% commission?

    Thanks.

How can I change the affiliate split. Say from 50/50 to 72/25? Also let me know which is which Author/Vendor or Vendor/Author. Thanks.

I’m confused. Your “How to setup a Revenue Sharing Product Selling Site” page has this post at the bottom…

“Hi, Yes you can set the revenue sharing on a per product basis. This is in the eStore under add/edit products > Addon Settings.

If you do not have this option then you need an update.

The following post will explain how updates work: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request”

Please clarify. I’m trying to set it up. Thanks.
