assuming your are running windows, if you add the following line:

212.48.71.222 rickdellphotography.co.uk

to the bottom of your hosts file (c:WindowsSystem32Driversetchosts) and refresh your webpage it will tell the computer to access the site using the alternative server.

The link is still:

[http://rickdellphotography.co.uk/secure/]

with password jen17

or

[http://rickdellphotography.co.uk/secure/photogallery/gallery102/]

with the problem on photos such as:

[http://rickdellphotography.co.uk/secure/photogallery/photo_details/?gallery_id=102&image_id=56438&auth_key=d3Bwc19waG90b19hdXRob3JpemVk]

Obviously I cannot switch the A records because then the website will go down.

The link is the same as before, but it is running on a different server (so that the live website does not go down) you can force the ip in your hosts or otherwise, see previous tickets.

possibly it is conflicting with the theme somehow

Sorry – re-enabled the previous one.

I’ve updated to 1.8.2 but now it won’t load a photo at all. It’ll show the grid view but nothing further.

I just updated and tested on a duplicate server (Version 1.6.5 – server ip is 212.48.71.222 if you want to force it and see for yourself) and it’s still the same – any idea what is causing the delay?
