Yes, template two loads slowly as well, sometimes hangs without loading the thumbs, wheras compared to templates 2 and 5, template 3 loads normally. You can see an example of template two at [www.photospastandpresent.co.uk]
on the home page, scroll down and click on the ‘Buses’ gallery. If it loads, click through the ‘next’ pages until it hangs

May 14, 2015 at 11:57 am in reply to: Displaying Index pages and gallery order in Photo seller #67446soundmanMember+3 for pagination on galleries. It is pretty much a standard usability feature these days on any site displaying consecutive multiple pages of products/images, and Photo Seller really needs this feature.
Likewise, a feature to allow sorting/re-sorting of images or to re-order the image display order within a gallery is also a must.
Cheers

Just one last thing, the thumbnails that are displayed on the results page after running a search are not displaying a title, just displaying the thumbnail. I can live with this but just want to make sure that it’s not an error?

soundmanMemberOk, I’ll keep my eye out for it in the future. It would be an excellent feature and add a lot of scope to the front end point of contact with the customer. Thanks too for all the tweaks and upgrades this year, great support on here. Cheers.

December 12, 2014 at 3:10 pm in reply to: Photo Seller Image Name SEO – Are uploaded images invisible to google search? #67322soundmanMemberHi, Any answer forthcoming on this? It’s a very valid question, so as to clarify if individual photos that are displayed on the photo details page are accessible to a google image search or not?
Especially in the case of uploading a very large amount of photos, as I need to know whether there is any point in SEO optimizing each photo’s filename prior to upload, which is a huge task. Also it is a decision that has to be made at this stage as wordpress does not allow retro-active changes to image filenames within the media gallery. Some clarification on this either way would be really helpful.
Many thanks

September 20, 2014 at 3:04 pm in reply to: What has happened to the 'Continue Shopping' button? #65510soundmanMemberYes that’s the one, the page where users add photos to the cart. Is there any way I can edit this in one of the files? ‘View Gallery’ is of no use for my purpose as I am not presenting anything to the customer as a ‘gallery’, I present my collections of photos as ‘Categories’ rather than ‘galleries’ and I need the usability of my site to be more in line with how products are displayed on sites such as Amazon… ie, ‘add to cart’ -> ‘continue shopping’. In my case ‘View Gallery’ will create confusion to the customer as that term bears no relationship to anything on my site. Is it possible you could direct me to the file and line of code that needs editing so that I can revert the text on the ‘View Gallery’ button it back to how it was previously?
Many thanks

soundmanMember… a quick question Peter. I’ve put the search box in a widjet in the right side bar so that it sits nice and uniform throught all the pages of the site. If you go to my test gallery page and run a search for ‘castle’, you can see it brings up a nice blank page with the search result… [http://photospastandpresent.co.uk/photos/?page_id=187]
…alternatively, if you go to my home page and run a search for ‘castle’, you can see that it brings up the search result ok, but that it also displays ‘Meta Slider’ which is located on my home page only… [http://photospastandpresent.co.uk/photos/]
Is the reason for this (displaying Meta Slider in the search results) due to my theme and the way in which I have implemented meta slider on my home page rather than anything at your end?
Many thanks
David
