Thanks. I contacted Aweber support and they disabled the confirmation message on their end. It seems to be working correctly now.
October 19, 2017 at 10:39 pm in reply to: Customers are not being moved from prospects to customers list in aWeber. #38165siteseerMemberHi – I’m using eMember in conjunction with the Aweber Auto-responder to drip feed weekly guitar lessons to subscribers. My six week Introduction to Guitar eCourse is currently being offered for free to attract new subscribers. I’ve added the Aweber Unique List ID to my Introduction to Guitar membership level in eMember. I also turned off the confirmation message in Aweber so they would get the first email immediately after sign-up.
The Problem:
New members are being added to the correct list in my eMember dashboard when they subscribe. However, my Aweber dashboard shows a “confirmation pending” message next to their name. This means that new subscribers are not receiving the email lessons I have created for this list.
Just wondering if you might know why this is happening and how to fix it?
August 4, 2017 at 4:51 pm in reply to: eMember – one member login to access different courses #74705siteseerMemberHello –
I am offering Guitar Lesson eCourses via Aweber. My original set-up for eMember was…
– Free Member – got access to restricted free lesson pages on my site after sign-up
– Intro To Guitar – a paid subscription gave access to weekly video lessons via email
– Easy Chords – a paid subscription gave access to weekly video lessons via email
– etc. – [there are five separate e-courses altogether]
Situation/Issue:
I want to provide a free trial of my Intro to Guitar eCourse and make the current “restricted” pages available to anyone visiting my site.
So…
– I removed the payment details in my eMember Dashboard from the Intro to Guitar eCourse.
– Then, I gave access to the lessons for this ecourse in the free memberhip level
– I also entered the related Aweber list ID for this eCourse into the Free Membership level.
– Now, when someone registers for a free trial, they should automatically get added to the correct Aweber list and be able to access the videos after I send the page link.
– After registration, new subscribers are currently redirected to the member dashboard. However, they shouldn’t be able access the video lessons until I send them the link, which is what I want.
Questions:
1. Did I set this up correctly?
2. I’d like to redirect new registrations to a Thank You page, but still have them be able to access the member dashboard after login AND receive my emails. How do I accomplish this?
3. My original free members were not added to the Intro To Guitar email list when they registered. Consequently, they won’t receive the email links to access to my free trial lessons. Can they be added to my email list another way?

Thanks for your time.

siteseerMemberThat did it! Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it. God Bless!
siteseerMemberThanks for your suggestions
. After checking my settings…
– I did not enter a dollar sign in any field
– My PayPal account is active
– My email address is correct
However, the payment button still doesn’t work.
Any other ideas?
siteseerMemberHi –
I received an error message after setting up and testing the eMember Paypal button shortcode on my site which said: “Things don’t appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.”
When I checked back about 20 minutes later, it still didn’t work.
Here is a link to the payment page:

Anyone know why the button isn’t working and how I might fix it?
