Free suscribers are being added good to the aWeber list, but when they buy the full product and be upgraded aWeber dont move them to the customers list. I have writed the name of the list in the place that eMember says. What is the problem?
November 5, 2011 at 7:09 am #38160amin007ParticipantEach time a member subscribes it will add that customer to that particular list for that membership level (there is no such concept as upgrade the AWeber account).
November 5, 2011 at 7:49 pm #38161karlozlfcMemberOk so, why I can read the next text in the membership level options? “The name of the list/campaign where the members of this membership level will be signed up to (example: “listname@aweber.com” if you are using AWeber or “sample_marketing” if you are using GetResponse or “My Members” if you are using MailChimp). You can find the list/campaign name inside your autoresponder account. Only use this field if you want the members of this level to be signed up to a specific autoresponder list.
Make sure you enable your preferred autoresponder from the Autoresponder Settings menu if you want to use this field.”
What’s the difference between this option and the Autoresponder Settings options?
November 5, 2011 at 8:13 pm #38162casstysonMemberSounds like you’re setup correctly in emember. Did you set up an Aweber automation rule?
Login to Aweber, go to My lists -> Automation. Create a new rule with “Unsubscribe from List A when lead subscribes to List B”
November 5, 2011 at 9:57 pm #38163karlozlfcMemberYes Casstyson thanks, but I want to know if there is a way to move automaticaly the prospect, I wish to move it without a new opt in in other webform. In getresponse there is a rule that says “move to X campaing if SALE”, you paste the code in your thankyou page and the prospect is moved inmediatly, but in aweber there isn’t a similar rule.
November 6, 2011 at 12:51 am #38164adminKeymasterAWeber has more restrictions than GetResponse and MailChimp autoresponders (this is part of the reason why AWeber has the best email delivery numbers). You will need to do what “casstyson” suggested.
October 19, 2017 at 10:39 pm #38165siteseerMemberHi – I’m using eMember in conjunction with the Aweber Auto-responder to drip feed weekly guitar lessons to subscribers. My six week Introduction to Guitar eCourse is currently being offered for free to attract new subscribers. I’ve added the Aweber Unique List ID to my Introduction to Guitar membership level in eMember. I also turned off the confirmation message in Aweber so they would get the first email immediately after sign-up.
The Problem:
New members are being added to the correct list in my eMember dashboard when they subscribe. However, my Aweber dashboard shows a “confirmation pending” message next to their name. This means that new subscribers are not receiving the email lessons I have created for this list.
Just wondering if you might know why this is happening and how to fix it?
October 19, 2017 at 10:45 pm #38166adminKeymasterI don’t think AWeber allows you to disable double opt-in when subscribers are added via API (emember has to add the subscriber using their API). You can ask AWeber to confirm this.
October 20, 2017 at 1:05 pm #38167siteseerMemberThanks. I contacted Aweber support and they disabled the confirmation message on their end. It seems to be working correctly now.
April 20, 2018 at 9:53 pm #38168siteseerMemberI currently have PayPal and Aweber set-up with eMember.
If I create a new rule in Aweber with “Unsubscribe from List A when lead subscribes to List B”, will eMember automatically add subscribers to the correct Aweber list specified in the Add/Edit Membership Level after purchase?
Example:
– Prospect signs-up as a free Member and gets assigned to the associated Aweber list.
– Prospect then becomes a customer and is upgraded to a different eMember list that also corresponds with a different Aweber list.
Will eMember add the subscriber to the correct Aweber list, or is there something else I need to do?
April 21, 2018 at 4:27 am #38169adminKeymasterYes, when the membership level is upgraded, the emember plugin will signup the user to the list that corresponds to the new level.
