FIXED IT! Somehow my download validation script location got an extra /wordpress/ in it. Everything work fine now.
September 24, 2011 at 6:26 pm in reply to: My encrypted product download links aren't working. #36977robhafleyMemberThe maintenance plugin is “ThemeFuse Maintenance Mode”. I’ve had that up while I build my site. I deactivated it last night while I was testing my download links so it shouldn’t be the culprit. I’ll update the plugin and see what happens. It’s very strange though, I’ve tried IE, Chrome and Firefox just to make sure it’s not the browser. Maybe it’s something with my hosting settings.

Keep in mind the download links don’t work for another test product I have that doesn’t have a variation, it only has a single file. eStore version is v5.7.4

September 21, 2011 at 3:18 am in reply to: Digital Product Variation question on bundled items #36827robhafleyMemberI may have answered my own question. If I treat the collection like an entirely new product and I create new zip files each containing the collection in a specific format then I can use that for the variation. The customer could choose as usual and the zip file they download will include the whole collection. This is probably the simplest and most foolproof way you think?
robhafleyMemberThank you thank you thank you!
robhafleyMemberCan an option such as this be custom coded for me if I’m willing to pay for it?
robhafleyMemberI understand, I need about ten more hours in a day.
robhafleyMemberAnymore thoughts on this guys? I’m getting closer to launching my webstore and since I will end up having about 15 categories and a few hundred products I would love to have a search option that is category specific. If I could just specify the category # in the search shortcode that would work great for me. I would use it by placing a search option on each of my category main pages or on a page-specific widget. That way if my customer is browsing category “a” and searches for an item they won’t get results from the whole store.

robhafleyMemberI must say the support here is tremendous.
robhafleyMemberI would love that option as well. I would like to drop in the search shortcodes in each of my category main pages and have the search ONLY look in the specific category. Maybe in an upcoming update perhaps? I would be willing to pay for such and optional add-on.
August 7, 2011 at 6:32 pm in reply to: How to open "Terms and Conditions" page link from shopping cart in same window #28430robhafleyMemberCan’t get this to work for me. No matter what I do to the code the T&C still opens a new tab.
August 7, 2011 at 4:27 am in reply to: Terms and Conditions tweak question (open t&c in the same window) #35262robhafleyMemberActually I tried the method described in the post (linked above) exactly as directed and it doesn’t work. The Terms still open in a new window. I even deleted the whole line of code in question and the T&C still worked just the same. Could this be because I’m using Super Cache?
Edit: I don’t think it’s that either. Changing the code in the misc_functions php strangely doesn’t do anything, hmm…
