Hi Ivy!
Updating to the latest version of WP eStore (Version v4.8.7), gave me access to “Allow Customers to Specify a Price” checkbox.
This option works great for allowing customer to make a non-standard payment, where the customer enters the amount they wish to pay.
In my case, setting up a payment method for a contractor who will have varying amounts due depending on what work was done is exactly what I needed to allow the contractor to take credit cards for all of his customers. He can even phone in the credit card information to his office while on a job, and the office staff can process the credit card through the website.
Thanks for the support!

RichParticipantHi Amin007,
I am having trouble implementing your suggestion above. When I go to the tips and tricks page listed, it shows a check box for “Allow Customers to Specify a Price” which is suppose to be in the “Additional Product Details” section. I do not have this option in my version of WP eStore, which is Version v4.1.0.
Any further suggestions?
Thank you for your help!
RichParticipantHi Amin007,
I reviewed the information in the link you sent, and it looks very promising. That is a nice versatile option to WP eStore. I will let you know if I have any further questions.
Thank you for your help!

RichParticipantCan anyone tell me how to have the eStore plugin count free downloads. I have used the download now shortcode to have the user download a free digital file, the the product does not log the download.
I appreciate any help with this. It will help define what our customers are interested in.
RichParticipantI finally found the problem. I had mistyped the file path of the download file. Really stupid move on my part considering how much time I spent looking at the path without seeing the error.
Thanks for your reply. It gave me a definite direction to search on.
Sincerely,
Rich H.
