Thanks for the reply.
Categories don’t seem to be much help with hiding products whose inventory is zero.
Is there a shortcode to account for that, or is it a PHP job?
Any assistance much appreciated.
PJV2097SpectatorThanks for the quick reply.
I do not have eStore_post_payment_debug.log. Instead I have eStore_payment_debug.log, and it is empty after running a transaction in debug mode (it is write-enabled).
ipn_handle_debug.log is:
[09/06/2011 9:13 AM] – SUCCESS :Paypal Class Initiated by 80.40.220.33
[09/06/2011 9:13 AM] – SUCCESS :Post string :
[09/06/2011 9:13 AM] – SUCCESS :Connection to http://www.paypal.com successfuly completed.
[09/06/2011 9:13 AM] – FAILURE :IPN validation failed.
[09/06/2011 9:13 AM] – SUCCESS :Paypal class finished.
PJV2097SpectatorI know this is likely to be a difficult question to answer, but …
Would it be possible for a skilled PHP coder to modify the plugin so that it did allow inventory control for variations, as in the original question? I am a user of the plugin and find it brilliant, but this one limitation is causing me difficulty (so I am thinking of hiring someone to help out!).
Any advice much appreciated.
PJV2097SpectatorOkay, thank you.
I’ve downloaded the update but have not yet installed it.
I have made quite a few changes to the CSS and PHP files of the version I currently have installed. Will installing this new version overwrite those changes?
Thanks again.
PJV2097SpectatorThanks for the reply.
This is the single most important thing lacking from the plugin for me, and I worry that my business will soon outgrow the plugin because of it.
Are there any plans to introduce the feature in the future? Or any work-arounds you can suggest?
PJV2097SpectatorThanks for the response.
The problem was actually with WP Cache, which although I had already deactivated, but actually had to delete from my WordPress for the cart problem to resolve.
