I am trying to add a dropdown, so that customers can select domestic or international shipping options.

I have found the guide for “Shipping Variations” here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-shipping-variation-1056.

However, I can find no mention of this option in my WP eStore back-end. Can you please tell me precisely where it is (which option, which tab). Many thanks!

Browse to the “Settings” menu of eStore and look in the “Shipping and Tax Related Settings” section

Hi, If you do not see this option where wpCommerce directed you then I believe you will need an update. The feature was added recently to the eStore.

You can find out more about updates here:

    Okay, thank you.

I’ve downloaded the update but have not yet installed it.

I have made quite a few changes to the CSS and PHP files of the version I currently have installed. Will installing this new version overwrite those changes?

    Thanks again.

Installing a new version will always overwrite your changes this is why there is a custom CSS file (wp_eStore_custom_style.css) that is provided with the plugin which you can use to add your CSS. During an upgrade you just keep a backup of that file so you can put it back after the upgrade. PHP code mainly controls the functionality and you should not be changing them. Yes you are free to change the code for your own usage but at your own risk because I have no way of controlling what coding change you do.
