OK, thanks for your detailed response. BTW – I really like this plugin and am still learning all of its benefits.
If I modify the “Buy Now” button so that another window is opened (to PayPal), then I assume that my site simply stays as it is. BUT THEN, when the user has finished paying on PayPal and returns to merchant (my site), what happens? Does the PayPal window change to my site’s thank you page, which means now there are two windows with my site open?
Is there a way that the new window (with PayPal’s site) is closed when the user returns to merchant?June 1, 2010 at 10:57 am in reply to: Payment Gateway Settings "Customize the Return Button Text " #16498
@admin … if I want the return to merchant button to actually be a graphical button, as opposed to a simple link, do I enter the url of the image in the menu option to customize the return to merchant button?
Right now I have some specific text in that field, which creates a text link using this specific text, but I’d like the link to be a graphical button. (sorry, I’m away from home otherwise I’d simply test to see if it works).
OK thanks … I’ll do it this way, to put the file in some random sub-directory with a blank index page in the main downloads directory.May 31, 2010 at 11:40 pm in reply to: Payment Gateway Settings "Customize the Return Button Text " #16496
Hi … is there a way to customize the return button … the button itself? Right now it is just a text link, but I’d like it to be a big button so that customer can see it, like in your example video.
If I have the .htaccess and .htpasswd files in the same folder with my digital product, then I get a message that says “file not found” when I click on the purchased product download link in my email or on my thank you page.
How do I ensure the product is protected while still allowing it to be downloaded for purchase?
