I can’t post it because it’s a live product. The main product link expires and is only one click and that works fine. It’s the shortcode for receiving the product via email that doesn’t work. I use chrome. I have tested under FF, IE, Safari and Chome and that shortcode sends a download link that doesn’t expire and is multiple click.
myallenmediaMemberThat is not correct. I have one downloadable product. It limited to 1 download and a 24 hour period. That shortcode sends them the product and that link is clickable many times as well as no expire date for it. So, it doesn’t work.
myallenmediaMemberThere’s a big issue with this solution. It allows people to pass that URL around and continually download it. How can we make that download link just a one time click?
myallenmediaMemberGood info! One question though. Just to confirm, it will send an email to the Paypal email address that they paid with correct and not the eMember register email.
myallenmediaMemberFair enough… Thanks.
myallenmediaMemberI got the new updates yesterday via the autoupdate feature you have. I installed it and ran the Timthumb Scanner and it told me it was outdated.
myallenmediaMemberI have monthly subscription plans. I want to put on a page the members subscription status. I assume that the sidebar widget shows some sort of membership status but is there a subscription status code for individual pages?
December 10, 2012 at 12:38 am in reply to: eMember: "You do not have permission to view the comments." #51942myallenmediaMemberIs there a fix for this? All my protected pages have this text below it “You do not have permission to view the comments”. Just want to remove this text.
myallenmediaMemberI don’t see that on the login form. Is that a shortcode? want to display subscription status on the page.
myallenmediaMemberAwesome. Thanks!
myallenmediaMemberThis did the trick:
date_default_timezone_set(‘America/New_York’);
Adding it to the top wp_estore1.php
The info from the following post helped me:
myallenmediaMemberThat’s what I was thinking but here’s my situation. I have one PayPal account and 3 domains so having it redirect back to one site is not good unless there’s a way to redirect back to the site the user was just at. That possible? Where would I set that up at?
myallenmediaMemberYeah, I tried putting this code on the page and it still displays the blogs.
[emember_protected for=3]

myallenmediaMemberAll I know is that this plugin is working wonderfully and I haven’t had to change anything on the Paypal side. Customers purchase and download their products and it’s a good thing.
One question though, I have another site and I want to charge membership fees to join. Will I need to change anything on Paypal in order to do recurring billing? If so, will that affect my other site where I sell digital downloads? I only have one Paypal account.
myallenmediaMemberI just setup a new Paypal account and it’s disabled. I assume there is only one place and that is in the IPN notification area where you checkbox it to enable to send ipn messages. This is off by default or I’m in the wrong area.
