Ok.. well there is no problem with that. I must have missed that it sends the username. So as long as they enter in the valid email associated with the user id they will get a new temp password along with the username associated with it?

September 15, 2011 at 3:03 am in reply to: Adding new products to page makes the whole page dissapear? #36651matzenMemberI posted a before and after shot via the following link: (http://buildforless.com/before-after-new-product/). It erases the content in the main content area.. leaving the header, nav, page title, and sidebar in place.. Sorry for the broad term of completely.. its really just the main content that disappears to a white background.
matzenMemberHi Admin,
I received your email about the eStore being the possible issue and that you had installed the current eStore version but I am still unable to get simplepress to read the proper role. I ran a test transaction and completed the registration for “testuser” I left the user listed after the transaction (in eMember,WP, & simplepress) so you can see that in WP the user was created successfully as an author but the author role did not carry through to simplepress as the “testuser” is assigned level 1 access when they should have level 2 access as that is the assigned permission set for users coming into simplepress as a WP author.. Please let me know if you require any additional information and again thanks for your continued help!
matzenMemberOk, the info has been sent. Thanks!
matzenMemberHi Admin,
I do have those option enabled and am having the same issue. I would be happy to provide you site access if you would like to take a look at my scenario as well. I/we appreciate your help with this matter.
June 23, 2011 at 12:05 pm in reply to: Member Role not updating correctly w expired and on forums #22365matzenMemberHi admin.. I have installed the new version you provided and still it is assigning users to the default user role so I do not believe the hooks are working? I believe the other user who is posting on the other thread is having the same issue.
June 21, 2011 at 7:10 pm in reply to: Member Role not updating correctly w expired and on forums #22363matzenMemberHi admin007.. this is currently happening when a new member is being created. I will forward the info you provided to the simplepress guys and see what they say. Thank you for the info!
The steps used to create the scenario are provided at the following link: http://simple-press.com/support-forum/simple-press-version-440/user-group-memberships-based-on-wp-role-not-working-1/
June 15, 2011 at 11:23 am in reply to: Member Role not updating correctly w expired and on forums #22360matzenMemberIs there any updates to this? I have been working with the admin’s from SimplePress to troubleshoot why I as having the same issues. Can you please view the thread I have running on simplepress (http://simple-press.com/support-forum/simple-press-version-440/user-group-memberships-based-on-wp-role-not-working-1/) for details as I have done a step by step with screenshots of my issue and it seems the others above are having the same problem. I was informed that it was prob due to the eMemeber plugin not utilizing the WP api when creating the WP roles which leaves simplepress in the dark as to the appropriate permissions to allow a forum user when the member is created in eMember/WP. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
