I am hitting reply to the LAST email i received on 8/14 I have done so 10 times…
NORMAL Email?? how would you define NORMAL I have been using that address for 22yrs..
not trying to be a pest but can someone check if he received my response yesterday at 1:45?
So that would be September 1st or 2nd, i am afraid i dont have an email (that didnt come from this forum) since 8/14 I wonder who they are talking too. i will respond to the email from 8/14
I am not saying that i sent THAT email 2 weeks ago, I am saying i sent “A” response and didn’t hear back, I have been doing this for years so i understand emails get lost. I figured there maybe some confusion, Soo i started this thread.
I’m NOT trying to post any complaints in the forum, I like the software and dont want to switch to something else, just looking to fix a busted club site.
There is only 1 person, I responded to the email sent you folks sent on 8/13 about the jscript errors and never heard back that is why i started this thread. I am wondering if the updated plugin someone emailed me on 8/8 isn’t the cause of this…
Well i have sent a few emails over the last few weeks but not heard anything back, that is why i opened this thread.
I HAVE Been sending email… i havent heard back in weeks (yes i check the spam filter) that is why i opened this thread.

At some point the bug causing this issue will be discovered and fixed by the developer, is there an email list i can get on for when that happens??
The hosting provider is a business with deep roots in our hobby called BlastZone hosting. but i have to say i copied the site to another server and it does the same thing…
Since my last post I scoured through the apache error logs, where i found messages about mailpoet even though ALL the plugins were disabled. I realized that in the emember memberbership level / autoresponder there was still a list number for both levels. when i removed that (even with all plugins disabled) i found “some” better results. a new user will still get an error AND an account will be created with the wrong levels BUT when an admin tries to edit the new account it no longer throws a visible error, although it does throw lots in the Apache error log. I would love to share that log entry but it wont post.

Maybe i should also mention this is running on a Debian 11 VPS
PHP 8.1.7
MariaDB 10.5.15So, I was using jetpack boost and wp-supercache there were special instructions for Emember which i followed, but i disabled booth immediately when the problem first popped up a few weeks ago.
I have downloaded fresh copies of emember and any tips and tricks pluggins that were installed.
i reinstalled WordPress itself using the reinstall button on the dashboard.
I tried the 2020 theme and it did it with that theme active.
The only time i get any Java error messages is when a new users is logged in, when i delete the user java errors go away. That actually make sense as the user is logged in with incorrect member level permissions and emember errors.
I just disabled all the pluggins except Emember and classic editor (the site is way broken with that off) and same issue.one things i was just reminded of, at some point some renamed the basic “free” account membership but the member level number is still 2, although i did rename it back, could that have created an issue?
So this gets stranger. error logs were showing an issue with mailpoet when i tested adding users even though mailpoet seems to work just fine. So i disable anything mailpoet related and created another new user.
This time the user didnt get the generic wordpress crash page, what was displayed is our site with no formatting. turning to the admin panel the user was created, but with the same incorrect member lvl as before. editing the user this time does not throw the error and the user sees our site clearly after a page refresh in the browser.
Should mention using chrome as the “user” and F/F in the admin panel.- This reply was modified 2 years, 3 months ago by Bill Clune.
