[SOLVED]
I tried another test transaction using a coupon code. And…there you have it. I didn’t work. The debug file showed the following:
[04/03/2012 2:19 PM] – SUCCESS :Do Not Award Commission if Coupon Used feature is enabled. Commission will not be awarded for this transaction since a coupon code has been used. Coupon: havefun20
In the WP Estore Settings, I noticed that the “Do Not Award Commission if Coupon Used” was checked. I forgot that I enabled this feature.
[SOLVED]
markluchauerMemberUpdate: I tried purchasing a download from the affiliate teachitwithclass and everything went through and the commission was counted. I also tried another purchase using the affiliate ID flashcards and everything worked as well and the commission was counted.
So, the issue that remains is that the Paypal receipt on March 31st showed that teachitwithclass ID was the referrer however, they did not receive commission credit for that referral.
Any ideas, please let me know…thank you!
February 7, 2012 at 2:48 pm in reply to: How to change the location of the member fill in the blank data entry fields? #41633markluchauerMemberThank you for that reply. I added the code, however, it didn’t fix. The forms still work, so it’s not a pressing issue.
Since this is a problem with my theme, I will need to fix that first.
Thanks for the great affiliate plugin!

Here are the login details to a test affiliate account if you can check out the specs in the backend.
Username: test1

January 24, 2012 at 2:09 pm in reply to: Categories not expanding (showing all content) in Firefox and IE #41093markluchauerMemberThank you for the quick reply. The issue seems to be with my theme and code and is not an issue with the plugin.
Thank you so much for the great support!
markluchauerMemberI would agree that this functionality would be awesome!!
November 3, 2011 at 3:13 pm in reply to: Seller Email Body contains "User Email"…How to get rid of User Email? #38083markluchauerMemberThis is a perfect solution! Thank you so much!!!!! It works great and now I am able to print receipts/packing slips right from my email. Thank you!!!
November 2, 2011 at 12:50 pm in reply to: Seller Email Body contains "User Email"…How to get rid of User Email? #38081markluchauerMemberIt would be great to have a separate Seller Email Body field that is called “Receipt/Packing Slip” that is customizable with email shortcodes and doesn’t have the user email at the bottom. This would be great for companies that are wanting to have employees handle the shipping. They can be sent an email with only the transaction and shipping details to process the order to ship.
Thanks for your consideration.
markluchauerMemberAfter downloading the latest plugin and updating it, the email shortcodes work great.
Thank you!
October 30, 2011 at 12:00 am in reply to: How to let customers checkout on my website instead of Paypal? #37850markluchauerMemberWith the Payment Gateway Bundle Plugin that you offer, how does that work with Paypal Payments Pro. After reading up on Paypal Payments Pro, it seems as though they work through Payflow Link and they need to host their own payment pages. How does this integrate with WP-Estore?
I want to use WP-Estore and the Gateway Bundle Plugin, but I want to make sure that the checkout experience for my customers is secure.
Thanks!
October 25, 2011 at 1:12 am in reply to: How to let customers checkout on my website instead of Paypal? #37849markluchauerMemberThat looks awesome! Great looking interface as well. I will be contacting you once I get my site setup to purchase that plugin FOR SURE! Thanks for the amazing Wp-Estore plugin and also the on-site payment gateway feature!!!
markluchauerMemberI found out that the email address of the person who got the free download appears in the “Manage Customers” section of Estore. I still don’t receive an email though, but that’s okay, I will just copy the emails from the manage customers list.
markluchauerMemberThank you for the information.
I used the shortcode: [wp_eStore_free_download:product_id:245:end]
You can see it here: [http://shop.havefunteaching.com/downloads/songs/science-songs/going-green-song/]
The user gets the download and it works, however, I do not get a confirmation with their email address.
Thanks
April 8, 2011 at 12:21 pm in reply to: How do you create free shipping for downloadable products? #27962markluchauerMemberThis seems to be a really good fix Thanks so much for the great plugin!
April 7, 2011 at 7:06 pm in reply to: How do you create free shipping for downloadable products? #27960markluchauerMemberI tested the above solution…and there is still an issue:
When you add only downloadable products to the cart, you get free shipping.
When you add only tangible products to the cart, you get quantity based shipping.
BUT….
When you add both downloadable and tangible products to the cart, you get free shipping.
So, I am resorting to adding a weight to EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT and only use Paypal profile based shipping by weight. I will give downloadable products a weight of .01 and set the paypal shipping by weight for .01-4.99 lbs = $0.00 shipping. Then I will give all of my other tangible products a weight of 5 and set the paypal shipping by weight for:
5-9.99 = $2.99
10-14.99 = $3.99
15 and up = $4.99
This will make it so if someone order 1 tangible product shipping will be 2.99. If they order two tangible products, shipping will be 3.99, etc. If they have a bunch of downloadable products also in the cart, it will only add .01 lbs for each item and shouldn’t change the weight.
YAY!!!
I wonder if you give every product a weight. The downloadable products would have a weight of .1 and get free shipping. All other tangible products could have a weight of 5 or something. I think I tried that thought and Paypal didn’t recognize the total weight in the shopping cart. hmmmm.
