Should I also request a plugin update?
February 19, 2013 at 5:23 pm in reply to: Display all membership levels of the user in his profile? #53912loravoMemberThank you for your reply. I think I found a solution.
I created a page (called something like “All videos you have access to”) where I publish a list of links to all videos I have for sale (let’s say 20). Using the short codes, I am able to tell each link to be displayed to corresponding membership level only, so that if there are 20 links and the person owns 3 videos (belongs to 3 membership groups), he will see not 20, but only those 3 links that are open for him to see. A person from free membership group with no purchased videos will not see any links at all. A link to this “All videos you have access to” page is published on user profile page.
Each video is published on a separate page and those links lead to those individual video pages. Each video page is globally open to be viewed by only one corresponding membership group.
Using same short codes, I also can display those links in a text/html widget called Your videos.
The page looks crowded with code and not that easy to look at when you edit the page, but works good enough for me since I don’t have that big of a list of videos for sale.
Hope this could help anyone else with similar needs in future.

February 18, 2013 at 3:47 am in reply to: Display all membership levels of the user in his profile? #53910loravoMemberMy members buy membership levels with videos assigned to them (Membership level A gives access to view Video A). This is not PPV set up. From the user side, he buys access to a video, and this access may be unlimited or for some videos limited (access for a week or a month). Hope this gives you enough info.
February 17, 2013 at 6:20 am in reply to: emember – showing expiry date on page using shortcode #46407loravoMemberHi,
can additional membership expiry dates also be displayed via short code?
I would like to display all owned membership level names and their expiry dates in user profile.
I would need that to show my users their purchased videos (which are each assigned to membership levels) along with their access expiry dates.
It would be even better if a person could go to his account, see list of owned videos with expiry info and click on them to access this video page so that it is all well organized and easily accessible to the user.
February 17, 2013 at 4:42 am in reply to: Display all membership levels of the user in his profile? #53908loravoMemberI found the short code here
Now, is it somehow possible to create a linkable list of owned videos?
Thank you!

February 15, 2013 at 7:50 pm in reply to: Lightbox Ultimate – RSS feed error after plugin installation #53782loravoMemberSorry, my bad. It was caused by another plugin which apparently conflicted with yours. After I deactivated it, my RSS went back to normal.
loravoMemberdorham, if you don’t mind me asking, what should I do in order to use RTMP player? I see Enable Flowplayer function in my plugin settings. Do I need to install another plugin for RTMP player? Would Flowplayer not be usable in this setup? Thanks a million!
loravoMemberThank you so much dorham, I’m on my way to implementing this scenario!
loravoMemberThank you! But if I set it up as PPV, would my users be able to return to those videos later after viewing them once? I need them to be able to watch them at any time over and over again while they are logged into my web site.
loravoMemberThank you for such quick reply wzp, I found the plugin and the corresponding shortcode.
However, I would like to find a more in-depth instructions on how to set up my store the way I need, if those exist.
What I need is to sell video tutorials without download option so that a customer has access to this video on my web site only (but cannot download it) whenever he wants to watch it and as many times after payment, but can’t pass the video around in any form.
As far as I understand, I need to assign each video to a separate membership level, so when customer buys this membership level he has access to his video from the moment he pays and this membership level is activated. Right?
Please forgive me if I’m asking too much, but I’m a bit confused with this complex plugin setup (I have 3 plugins purchased: membership, shop and lightbox).
Thank you for your willingness to help if you can.
loravoMemberI understand that selling VOD as membership (membership level A = access to Video A) is possible, and this is what I am after with help of Amazon S3.
I need my customers to “own” the video they pay for while they logged in, so they can watch it over and over again at any time, but can’t pass the link around.
I think I once found some instructions on how to set this up, but can’t find them anymore. I would appreciate if someone could direct me towards the instructions if they exist, or give some explanations on how to set this up correctly.
Thank you!
loravoMemberI second that request as I would need to be able to modify the fields for my needs as well and I’m not a developer. I see that last post was made a year ago. Any updates on that feature yet? Thank you!
