I am using both eMember and eStore together. I would like to create custom fields for eMember (which I can do no problem) but want them to integrate with eStore Manual Gateway check out system.
Currently the manual gateway reads specific info from the eMember details only and ignores the custom fields. Is there a way to integrate eMember custom fields in to the eStore manual gateway screen and autoresponders?
What I am try to do is have separate Bill To and Ship to addresses.
thanks for your help! DdeoAugust 18, 2011 at 12:50 am #35609
The eMember custom fields cannot be used on eStore as these two plugins are meant to be able to work independently. We have plans to revamp the manual checkout of eStore. In the meantime you can change the “Additional Comment” field (it is a text area) in the manual checkout and make that a billing address or vice versa. It is a text area so your customers will be able to enter the full address there and you will get that in the email.
You can customize that label using this method:August 18, 2011 at 1:42 pm #35610
Hi, it is good to know you are revamping the manual checkout although I need to revamp it right away to meet my deadline …
Do you have any suggestion on how I can update the eStore_manual_gateway.php file to add custom fields? In addition to adding shipping address I need to add a drop down for shipping type and customer PO#.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!August 19, 2011 at 12:09 am #35611August 30, 2011 at 3:26 pm #35612
Hi Key Master, do you have a time table for the revamped Manual Check out?
The eMember custom fields cannot be used on eStore as these two plugins are meant to be able to work independently. We have plans to revamp the manual checkout of eStore.
What are some of the features you will be integrating into the new release?
I plan to use only the comment field until you have the update.

I don’t have any time frame for this yet. We will look into this if there is enough request for it.February 6, 2013 at 6:03 pm #35614loravoMember
I second that request as I would need to be able to modify the fields for my needs as well and I’m not a developer. I see that last post was made a year ago. Any updates on that feature yet? Thank you!February 7, 2013 at 12:47 am #35615
Hi, We already look at how many users are requesting a particular feature before adding it to the plugin. There wasn’t enough users requesting this feature so we paused the development of it. More info on it here:
