I have a similar setup…but with a twist. Prior to purchase, I asked about using coupon codes with a membership subscription.
Here is our membership:
$34.99/month
$100 one time setup
I have it setup with the first month trial of $134.99 and then each subsequent month is just $34.99.
So far, so good.
The tricky part I can’t figure out is that the customer needs to be able to put in a $10 coupon code (which can be tracked to an affiliate) that will reduce the membership from $34.99/month to $24.99/month. How do I set this up? If I setup the subscribe button…it just goes straight to PayPal without a chance to enter the code. If I setup the Add To Cart button…they can put in the coupon code…but it just charges them one time (no subscription) and doesn’t charge the setup fee.
Help please! There should be some way to do this, but I can’t figure it out.
KraftyOneMemberHello…checking in…really need to get this working and haven’t heard back…
Thanks!
KraftyOneMemberI sent it to you. Please let me know what you find.
KraftyOneMemberOkay…I did this. I turned off EVERY plugin except the lightbox one AND went back to the default theme. Even with the default theme and only the ONE plugin activated, it still doesn’t work. Help please…
KraftyOneMemberHello…I tried the default theme and I disabled any plugins that I thought were using jquery…still no luck…
KraftyOneMemberAlso, I have tried Firefox, Safari, Chrome and IE9…none of them work.
KraftyOneMemberIs that how the plugin works? It requires people to have quicktime? I assumed/thought I read that it would use an HTML5 player with a flash fallback. Lots of people don’t have quicktime…
For clarification…the link that is using the lightbox plugin is the 2nd one under #1. The first one is just a normal link to the video…
