I thought I would try again to reach out for help. The prompt I get is: Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /home/joyfulbe/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/eStore_cart.php on line 486

The link to the site:joyfulbeing.com/funrecordings/ When you click on the order button, it take you to shopping cart with the prompt at the top. It is happening for all products, not just this one.

I’m not sure, my web developer may have done it, but I need to launch new product before I can get in touch with him to find out. Any other suggestions?

The following error message appears at the top of the shopping cart when purchasing a new item that was just added to my website:

WARNING: A non-numeric value encountered in /home/joyfulbe/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/eStore_cart.php on line 486

The person who set this up for me also encountered an issue during set-up and I’m not sure if the two are related, here are her words:

“a weird error shows up on the shopping cart page and i looked it up. it’s about the product image but i dont see where to put a different url than what i did to make it show up.”

The shopping cart functions to purchase this item, but I would really like to get rid of the error message at the top of the page.

Thanks. Sorry to ask one more question, I just want to be clear. I think the first scenario isn’t possible based on your answer. I asked if they could purchase one item OF THEIR CHOICE, from multiple products in my shop and have the coupon code apply — if am required to specify an Item ID as a condition, then the choice of which product the coupon applies to is made by me, not by them. Is this correct? Thanks again.

Thank you for the information. I’d appreciate you answers to a couple more questions…

Is there a way in my existing wp-estore shopping cart to create a condition for a coupon being good for only one item — without specifying which item it is? So for example…

Scenario one: Someone could go to my store, purchase one item of their choice and the coupon code would automatically take a certain percentage off their order.

Scenario two: Someone purchases multiple items and the coupon code takes a certain percentage off just one of them.

Are one or both of the above scenarios possible with the coupon code conditions available? If so, which condition would I need to apply to the coupon?

    Thanks so much.

I am trying to set up a coupon code that a visitor could use one time only for 20% off. I made the mistake of putting the number 1 in the Redemption Limit box, which turns out to mean that the coupon can only be used once, ever. Ideally I would like the coupon to be for one time only, and for one item only, but that might mean more than one condition. This post would seem to indicate that’s not possible. If that is true, then I would be ok with a one time only 20% off everything in the shopping cart for that particular visitor. Is that possible? If it is, how exactly do I do it?

Yes, if the amount is more than $0 the custom form does work.

BUT…we’re using Paypal when there is a value in the cart. We are not using Manual checkout for anything except zero value sales because Paypal doesn’t like them.

    Thanks, wzp!

I’ll check with my client how important it is for her to limit the number of fields.

    Thanks, wzp,

    Here’s the screenshot: pasteboard.co/Ha5ygxd.png

Since posting my query, I have managed to get rid of most of the extra stuff using CSS “display: none” for the banner, navigation and footer, but is there a better way?

Also, is there a way to reduce the number of fields required – like phone and address?

    Thanks!
