No – I understand all that about doubleclicking the payment button. What I’m asking is this – Assuming she only clicked once to make a payment, and then she came back later to renew again (even though she already renewed) – is possible that she could renew for another year? We don’t want people to renew for future years.

Good question – it looks like her two purchases were 2 minutes apart. Which could mean she refreshed or clicked the back button is my guess.

Are you saying that after a person renews for the next year, they are not able to renew for another year until a certain time period before expiration? That’s the want I want it to work and I think it does – but can you confirm?

Thank you for the help I believe this worked. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t do the import wrong. It would be very helpful if (admin functions->create accounts) were mentioned in the addon page https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/bulk-member-data-importer-addon-853 and also the admin page for the bulk import, which is currently just a blank page with a button.

Does bulk import ever create wp accounts? I’m pretty sure I had the eMember setting to creating a wp account when we did the bulk import.

That was one of the first things I tried. It doesn’t take the validation off. This is on form builder right? The regular eMember settings just has show and required for phone settings.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did see that before I posted this and hoped something had changed in the last year.

So is the usefulness of fields created in Form Builder limited to viewing the info from admin and including it in exports?

Is there an easy way to output a field for a user onto any given page? I’m just starting to look at the code so if you can point me to how field names and data are created/stored/retrieved that would help a lot.

When I edit a member from the Add/Edit Member screen, the expiry date is not editable. I can edit subscription starts, but not expiry.

It seems odd to me that expresso allows me to login on their page, yet it doesn’t log me into emember at the same time. I believe both emember and espresso use the same wordpress user profiles for logins.

No – I am not – I’m only currently using emember (with Member Profile Extended and Form Builder) and Event Espresso 4.4

Thanks – how do I determine what the shortcode would be for a custom field? I’m using the eMember Profile Display Extended AddOn and I would like to show one of my custom fields in the directory grid.

Right now I have a custom field that is only showing a blank column.

    [emember_extended_summary_list fields=”first_name,last_name,alias,email,company_name,hrci-certifications” style=”2″]

The hrci-certifications is my custom field, but I don’t know how to determine the shortcode value.

    Thanks,

    J

Ok – that makes sense on the protected content. But can the joinus and registration pages be combined? I still would like for the member to register and pay all on one screen.

    Thanks,

    J
