eMember form builder – Invalid Phone Number for extentions

something like 555-555-5555 ext. 55555 will not let us update.

We are using form builder. I actually set the field to text in the database but that didn’t help. It seems like that just adds an extra field for phone number which isn’t acceptable. How can I really just turn validation off for this field?

Edit the phone field in your form, then look at the selectbox labelled “Validation” (it is next to the “Required” option field.

Set the validation option to “None” then save it.

Let me know how it goes after that.

That was one of the first things I tried. It doesn’t take the validation off. This is on form builder right? The regular eMember settings just has show and required for phone settings.
