Hello.
I was having the same problem, however i have found out that the solution was just as simple as this:
Uncheck both the following options in your WP eStore Settings
– Enable Lightbox effect on Images
– Enable Smart Thumbnail Option
And then use Lightbox Plus plugin.
NO CODE NEEDED.
July 14, 2011 at 3:31 pm in reply to: Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error #27668inesrodriguesMemberSame applies to me when i try to activate the affiliate plugin platform on WP multisite + php 5.2.5
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Warning: require_once(/home/www/amazing-canvas.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/affiliates_menu.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/amazing-canvas.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_platform1.php on line 580
Any thoughts…
Thank you.
inesrodriguesMemberHello.
I see Either way, i will be using the wp estore because of the affiliates plugin
However, i will try the Instinct’s on my personal website – for the test.
Thank you.
inesrodriguesMemberHello again.
That was not exactly what i needed.
I used another option: Giving a specific link to each category as we create the category itself on the back-end, but it re-loads the whole website as we select each category on the front end. I didn’t really enjoyed the result. As for my business partner, well, he simply did not accept that at all.
I am trying to display the products according to each category but without having to link each post to a specific category.
Basically, i am trying to display the store (like a whole) and the products would change dynamically according to each category as we select it. Is that possible…?
Thank you
inesrodriguesMember*update*
I have used the following short code on a post:
[wp_eStore_all_products_stylish:end]
But the litte issue seems to remain…
Any hint is more than welcome
Thanks again.
inesrodriguesMemberHello again.
First of all, i apreciate all your help with the lightbox previous issue. I have solved it by recovering the original footer fie on my wp theme
But now there s something with my sidebar categories that looks kinda funny.
Maybe a mistake of mine while adding the products to the store (but i have categorized them correctly)… or should i really use a post to display the products? Or a maybe different way?
I ask this because when i click on a store category all products appear on the post no matter what category they belong, which makes sense after all – because if we type every single product code on a post, it is supposed to be displaeyd no matter the store category it belongs.

So, my question is:
Is there any specific code to be writen on a post in order to display the products according to the categories they belong? (not displaying those that are not included on other store categories)
Many thanks.
inesrodriguesMemberOk. I have istalled and activated the extra short codes. Also found out what the issue is now. My theme is not “lightbox friendly”. But i will take care of it from now on.
Thanks again
inesrodriguesMemberok thanks a lot.
inesrodriguesMembercorrection: you have installed a different lightbox
inesrodriguesMemberBy the way: i see i have installed a different lightbox (the one that works better) I think i may uninstall the previous one as it caused troubles
By the way: may i still using the wp eStore extra shortcodes…? Or is there any other way to show the categories list on a widget without the extra short codes?
Thanks again
inesrodriguesMemberI have diggin’ a bit about that library.
http://php.net/manual/en/book.image.php
http://www.php.net/manual/en/image.installation.php
There is an option on the site control panel that allows me to use “PHP 6 dev” (under development). I have found that in the official php page, it says that gd libaries are supported since version 5 or 4…
However, your last option gave me an idea I can use the product listing as a sort of template with all options and variations And on the product image, i will upload the main image (the one that loads greatly) with a preview of all options/ product sizes shown in that very same image.
Thanks
inesrodriguesMemberHello.
I noticed you have fixed the lightbox on the website. However the additional pics still do not appear yet Could it be smth on the PHP…? I have not done anything on the admin section ever since i filled your form regarding this situation.
Thank you
inesrodriguesMemberHello.
Ok. I have followed your link and filled the form.
Thank you.
inesrodriguesMemberHi
I have the following option turned on: “Enable Lightbox effect on Images” on the WP eStore settings…
I have deactivated all other plugins including the NexGen Gallery (which is currently deactivated)
The only one i have for the fancy view, is the “fancybox for wordpress” (but i suppose that this one is necessary). Either way, i have disabled that one for the test and i still could not view the additional images. The main image opened it the browser window – like an image download.
Other than these, only the “wp affiliate plugin” and “Extra Shortcodes for WP eStore”.
Nohing else.
Also tried to activate another theme (twenty ten) and that issue remained.
Double checked the images location on the server and it is correct.
Hope this helps
Thank you
inesrodriguesMemberThat post is a test, but the problem is there I have additional imgs other than the main one, but none of the other appear.
