March 22, 2015 at 9:00 am in reply to: Using eStore, eMember and PDF Stamper together to create a lifetime membership #68936InDesignMember
Everything that I am reading is discussing a single file download and a link that would be emailed to the member once they purchase the file. Is there a way to do a group of files and folders and give them access to them whenever they want without a single url for each and every file?
Thanks,
Tamer
March 22, 2015 at 8:47 am in reply to: Using eStore, eMember and PDF Stamper together to create a lifetime membership #68935InDesignMemberAlright this is all working out very well for us. We are very pleased with your product. Thank you very much. I have one question that is not specific to your products but a general information on how you would suggest is the best approach. We have about 20 folders and those folders have nested folders. We do not require (at this time; but may need it in the future) granular access for our members. In other words, right now, a member has access to all the folders and all the files and sub-folders living there. In the future, we may want some granular access (group X gets folder X,Y,Z) and so on. What folder management / upload strategy would you recommend?
InDesignMemberThank you very much for the information. That second method looks very promising.

February 3, 2015 at 12:08 pm in reply to: Setup 2 instances of eStore from one WP Installation #68380InDesignMemberSo, I finally used the clone application feature available on my hosting platform. That worked perfectly for copying the DB and all the products.
Thanks all…
February 3, 2015 at 10:50 am in reply to: Setup 2 instances of eStore from one WP Installation #68379InDesignMemberk, so, I looked deeply into moving the data from the one installation to the other using export and importing the DB tables and I was unsuccessful. The tables all moved; however, I do not have any of the products from the original installation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

February 3, 2015 at 3:40 am in reply to: Setup 2 instances of eStore from one WP Installation #68378InDesignMemberK, some of those tricks will work. Here is my problem. I have actually started creating and setting up the eStore on the “side blog” site. We have already put some 30 plus products in there. Now that I have a better understanding; I would like to move that installation to the store site and then link it from the side site as you had mentioned. Is there an easy way to move the eStore from one WP site to another? Again, sorry for the slew of questions.
February 1, 2015 at 10:25 pm in reply to: Setup 2 instances of eStore from one WP Installation #68375InDesignMemberThat is great; how about, is there anyway to share the data / information? The problem is I really don’t want two separate stores? I am fine with multiple installations and I am even fine with paying to license them separately; but I do not want to have multiple data sets as everything in both stores will be identical.
