eMember – existing members and new ones on the way

I have no issue yet but am looking for direction. I already have members list (email accounts) of persons that I want to give access and privileges in my private site to access files and folders that are protected and are for members only. What is the easiest way of bringing those members online without having to have them go through the process of buying the membership that would allow future users the same access and privs?

Currently all I have of existing members is their email address.
