Many thanks. I’ve just completed the form.
gwattsSpectatorIs it possible to get paid help from a WP eMember developer? I’d like the developer to work directly with my developer via Skype.
September 10, 2020 at 11:43 am in reply to: Remaining membership time after subscription cancellation #39463gwattsSpectatorHas the suggestion from archenemys 7 years ago been implemented into the WP eMember plugin yet. See the archenemys suggestion below..
hmm… yea thats not going to work because we really want it to recur every 30days after the trial period of 90 days… dosen’t seem to be a work around there. It’s just that people tend to forget to “review” after an extended amount of time and we loose revenue. That make sense?
Is there any chance that this could be looked into so that this would be an option that you all could write into this software?
I’m sure there are many other people out there that this benefit… I’m getting emails almost daily with people wondering why they no longer have access after paying and canceling when they paid for the 90 days.
This is generally a standard option for subscription software or services that we have used in the past.
gwattsSpectatorFOLLOW UP: We just did a Silver to Gold upgrade test, but when upgrading to Gold, the Silver subscription on Paypal wasn’t deleted or deactivated. That means if a member upgrades, they would have two active subscriptions on their Paypal account.
I set up all my subscription buttons directly from Paypal (and add the appropriate “notify_url=” to the “Add advanced variables” section).
To prevent this double subscription from happening, do I need to use the Payment Buttons section within “WP eMember > Payments > Payment Buttons” (and not set the payment buttons directly from Paypal)?
Below is a screencast I recorded to give more clarity on the upgrade/downgrade set up I’m after:

gwattsSpectatorHello,
I also want to send different renewal emails for different membership levels.
Can you please tell me any hook or filter to override your cronjob of wp emember for sending email before expiration of membership to different membership levels?
gwattsSpectatorI think the issue is now solved? When updating the WP eMember plugin (a few weeks ago), the settings within “WP eMember>Membership Level>Redirect After Login URL” had been changed. I would imagine that changing them back to the original URLs will have solved the issue?
