Is it possible to have different email notifications sent for different membership levels?
We have 2 membership levels that are managed by 2 different people on our team. But we get the same notification whenever a new account is created, regardless of which type of membership it is.
Is there any way we can have the notifications directed to different addresses according to membership level (so that the notifications don’t all go to the same address)?
If not, is there a way that we can at least have the membership type included in the notification email that we receive, so that we know what type of account has been created? This way we would at least be able to forward it to the person in charge of approving those types of accounts. As things are right now, we have some of our administrators just having to log-in any time they want to know if there are any new accounts pending.
For example, here is the username shortcode used in the ‘Registration Complete’ auto-email: {user_name}
Is there a list of email shortcodes anywhere? I cannot find anything related to them in the eMember shortcode documentation, or in the forum.
Finally, is there any way that we can have our auto-reply emails display different text dependent on membership level? In the same way that you can display different content on a page, for example, by specifying the membership ID. Something like:
[member_id=1]Your GOLD level membership account has now been approved![/]
[member_id=2]Your SILVER level membership account has now been approved![/]
This would be incredibly helpful.
Thank you!

Using the appropriate combination of tags and email rules (on your admin’s end), I think this will suffice.

In regards to the last part of our question – is it possible to have parts of the email be conditional on membership level? For certain text to appear for one membership level and other text to appear for another membership level?
For example:
[member_id=1]Your GOLD level membership account has now been approved![/]
[member_id=2]Your SILVER level membership account has now been approved![/]
Thank you!

January 31, 2020 at 5:52 am #61762gwattsSpectatorHello,
I also want to send different renewal emails for different membership levels.
Can you please tell me any hook or filter to override your cronjob of wp emember for sending email before expiration of membership to different membership levels?
January 31, 2020 at 1:38 pm #61763wzpModeratorThe emails are sent based on the expiration date of all member’s primary level only.

There is no provision for expiration emails based on other than primary levels.
