Not certain what “… any plugin or theme that includes lightbox script?” means. WP Lightbox was installed and activated, but not recently.

In case this help
The S3 file and bucket names were double checked as accurate.
After posting, I notice the “strong” text with brackets does not appear because it’s emphasizing both “Video part 1 of” text items.

“WP Lightbox Ultimate – Amazon S3 Videos not playing Posted January 1, 2014 – 10:52 PM”
> I have posted a video on Amazon S3 Account which was earlier playing fine on my another site, on WP Lightbox is not playing on my new site.
> The file and bucket names are as should be.
> what i get is a partial black blank video and nothing else.
I haven’t changed to a new site. These files were all playing fine two days ago on this same site. What was showing as a functioning video from S3 is now a blank black with nothing else.
This is a sample page…
[http://www.learningviavideo.com/z-fullversionaws_s3/]
…but this same effect happening for 11 other pages set up the same way – all of which were working too.
I removed the protection short code so what’s happening can be seen.
YouTube videos have no problem displaying on similar pages, but I don’t want to use YouTube for full version, paid-pages.

January 15, 2014 at 5:22 pm in reply to: eStore – Amazon S3 problems and multiple file download #44084george@lvvMemberThis is very helpful!!! I’ve printed this out for future reference to avoid further confusion related to “as3tp” versus “aprtp”
Your explanation prompted another question, which I think I already know the answer to, but don’t want to make a dangerous assumption.
Your note mentions this:
“Here is what you do to setup a WordPress page with Pay Per View feature:
[wp_eStore_APR expiry=0 status=unexpired]
Whatever content goes inside this short code will only be view-able after payment.
Video 1 embedding code goes here
Video 2 embedding code goes here
Video 3 embedding code goes here
[/wp_eStore_APR]”
Question: If I have a page with embedded code like below, do I also surround all that with the standard eStore content protection short code?
==========
[wp_eStore_APR expiry=0 status=unexpired]
>>>>> Do I / Can I / Should I put the embedded content using short code like below here? <<<<<
[wp_lightbox_embed_protected_s3_video name=”Internet Marketing Seminar_qtp.mp4″ bucket=”smnrfullpaid” width=”480″ height=”360″]
(Within the standard eStore protection short code)
[/wp_eStore_APR]
==========
… or does the lightbox short code “[wp_lightbox_embed_protected_s3_video name=”… ” provide the same protection as this >>>> [wp_eStore_APR expiry=0 status=unexpired] content [/wp_eStore_APR]?
===============
Sample page with embedded code

January 9, 2014 at 11:45 pm in reply to: eStore – Amazon S3 problems and multiple file download #44082george@lvvMemberBecause this exchange refers to – “APRTP “, I’m posting here to try to get help understanding the distinction between APRTP and AS3TP. I searched the Forum for “AS3TP” but found no results.
I’m using WP Lightbox Ultimate to setup a webpage using wp_lightbox_embed_protected_s3_video” code references.
I have WP LightBox Ultimate, WP eStore and WP eMember, but WP eMember is not currently installed. For a variety of reasons, I cannot use WP eMember for the websitge I’m building.
The site is selling Pay Per View products (on-page videos), not downloable digital files.
I’m follow instructions for “Method 2” in this tutorial PDF
Using these instructions, I’ve created a prototype page that will display several parts of content separately, but all on one page. The videos are sourced to AWS S3.
From this instruction:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/using-wordpress-permalinks-as-digital-products-apr-1217
… it’s my understanding I need to surround this “APR target”
with APR Shortcode, right?
I guess my question is, when I set up the web page using “Method 2” mentioned above, do I also need to use the “as3tp” replacement for http in the AWS S3 embed code references within the APR Target page?
Hope this make sense.
Last question. Whoever replies to this inquiry, what time zone in the world are you in.
THANK YOU!!!!
January 2, 2014 at 5:22 pm in reply to: Lightbox Ultimate – Amazon s3 video streeming is very slow #46140george@lvvMemberInstalled Adobe Air and applied qtindexswapper. This resulted in MP4 file info being moved from back to front of MP4 file. When installing Adobe Air, was required to agree to terms and conditions – the usual 10 pages of “boilerplate” legalese.
Copied terms and conditions text to plain text editor and searched on “commercial”. This revealed that Adobe Air is only for non-commercial use. If commercial use is desired, getting a license is required. Terms and conditions of the commercial license is obviously written so only an attorney can understand it.
Not looking for legal advice. Just hesitant to proceed using Adobe Air with so much “fine print” legal language buried out of site.

However, I need to test it with a file. Do you have a mp4 file that requires the metadata fix? I can send you an email if you don’t wish to share the file URL.”
I appreciate your help. The Tips and Tricks Support Team seems to be unaware of the whole “MP4 metadata fix” situation. They advised me to convert all my FLV files to MP4, but never mentioned the problem caused by MP4 metadate being at the end of the files.
Spent tons of time recreating video files in MP4 format only to find all those files are now worthless. Not very helpful.
>>> Hi, qtindexswapper has been recommended by various sites including Flowplayer and Adobe.
Can’t understand why.
Went to [http://renaun.com/blog/code/qtindexswapper/] .
The only download there is for “QTIndexSwapper.air”. Windows doesn’t recognize the “.air” file suffix. No clue how to get it to do anything. Not very useful.
Also went to [http://flowplayer.org/docs/encoding.html]
Long page of information. QTIndexSwapper is mentoined again. So too is MOOVRElocator, which takes you here:
Which shows this as downloads
“moovrelocator_0.1.zip”,
“moovrelocator_0.1.zip”.
No explanation which one should be used… or both??? If it’s intuitive, I don’t intuit.
Home page mentions “Members” & has a “Sign In” button. Zero discussion about membership appear on the same page, whether it’s required, etc.

Here’s the file that takes about 60 seconds to start. It’s total length is about 3 minutes.
“Fixing it” may be a waste of time if other options provide a solution.
Premiere has several formats within H.264 for exporting, including:
Apple iPod (4 formats)
NTSC DV
Google Video
MySpace
Yahoo Video
YouTube
Sony PSP
I tested exports from Premiere with the Apple iPod and YouTube MP4 setting presets but both had terrible pixelization. Previously, the MP4 files I exported were in NTSC DV setting and looked just great.
I suspect the standard Premiere NTSC DV version of MP4 format writes the metadata at wrong end of the file.
I just tested exporting a file using the Apple iPod Large Size setting which looks very good playing with QuickTime Player on my hard drive.
I’ll look at it tomorrow in the test page set up for viewing AWS S3 video files to see how it opens and runs.
If none of this solves the problem, I may need to output a clip from Premiere in AVI format and then convert the AVI to MP4 using Camtasia7.
Of course I’ll also try the qtindexswapper with the Premiere files – made in NTSC DV format – to see how the overall quality of the video looks.
Thanks for your help and input. Good to know there’s some options. Regards, George
December 23, 2013 at 11:00 pm in reply to: Lightbox Ultimate – Amazon s3 video streeming is very slow #46135george@lvvMemberProblem described above seems to be caused by what’s described / recommended by amin007 moderator here>>
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/issues-with-getting-video-to-autoplay
Used Datagoround tool which solved slow start problem but now MP4 files play very poorly. Much stalling and skipping. Original MP4 files play very well – DataGoround.com tools seems the only logical cause of the file quality downgrade.
Are there any other tools that do a better job of performing this “End to Beginning” information switch for MP4 video files — without screwing up the quality of the file?
Found this other tool suggested to be completely useless:
Thanks again.
December 23, 2013 at 7:28 pm in reply to: Lightbox Ultimate – Amazon s3 video streeming is very slow #46134george@lvvMemberHaving similar issues. Two concerns related to WZP’s reply:
1. “the geographical difference between the bucket and the computer doing the download. This latency can be reduced by specifically creating the bucket in a geographical “region” that is closest to your customer base.”
From Amazon S3 upload instructions, got impression AWS S3 prefers use of default bucket listed when uploading files to S3. Uploading from US East Coast, but every S3 video upload window indicated “Oregon” as default Bucket. Is it recommended to manually select a closer US AWS S3 processing center when uploading?
2. “Some video formats require more of the file to be downloaded first than others, before playback can begin.”
Was advised by T&T Support to ONLY use MP4 video. Had been using Adobe Flash Video, but all files uploaded to AWS S3 now MP4. Or does this reply mean some format differences within the MP4 format?
wpCommerce replied:
“Hi, It shouldn’t take that long. Can you please post a link to the page where you have the shortcode embedded?”
Agree. Is taking like 60 seconds. Once it shows, audio and video look fine.
Link below shows the video without T&T WP shortcode. First want to test using 3 min videos where protection is not a concern. Initially want to verify the videos run OK using Amazon S3 without involving the T&T shortcode yet. Once OK with S3, will then test using Amazon with T&T shortcodes.
Appreciate the feedback.

george@lvvMemberI’ve set up the WP eStore’s Pay Per View Using WordPress Permalinks as Digital Products. I works fine delivering the encrypted link to an uploaded YouTube video.
Recently, I heard about a way to access YouTube videos I was unaware of. This methods doesn’t seem to be addressed in any of the latest Tips And Tricks documentation.
When I play the YouTube video accessed via a eStore Thank You page encrypted link, if I right click directly on the YouTube video as it’s running, a drop down menu within the YouTube video appears offering two options:
Copy video URL
Copy video URL at current time
Both these options allow me to copy & paste the YouTube video’s URL to a plain text editor. This saved URL allows me – or anyone else – to watch the video content directly on YouTube.
Is there a step in eStore process I’m missing that prevents customers from directly accessing the URL of YouTube videos with this “right click” method? Is it required to buy additional Tips and Tricks plugins to prevent this?
Is this why Tips and Tricks tutorial videos all seem to run on Vimeo rather than YouTube?
Is there an alternative, besides Video, for free video file sharing, like YouTube, that can be used to avoid this problem? Vimeo is very unfriendly to commercial video. Their first two pricing tiers don’t even allow businesses to use Vimeo.
http://vimeo.com/help/guidelines
“Businesses may not use basic Vimeo or Vimeo Plus accounts to host their videos. Businesses may, however, use a Vimeo PRO account ($199 per year)to host their videos so long as they comply with the Vimeo PRO guidelines.”
george@lvvMemberThe reply to one question above is incomplete and confusing.
The question is:
“Do you want a customer to be able to view those videos once for every payment or lifetime for one payment?”
Answer #1 says:
“1. If you use the pay per view feature of eStore your customers will be able to view the video every time they make a payment. Please follow the link below to watch the video tutorial on how to setup pay per view content.”
Notice what Answer #1 says – and doesn’t say:
“your customers will be able to view the video every time they make a payment.”
This does not completely answer what the original question asks:
“for every payment or lifetime for one payment”. <<< notice “or lifetime for one payment”
What if I want to sell pay per view video so customers are able to view videos for “lifetime for one payment”.
Does “lifetime for one payment” mean viewing more than “once for every payment”, or not? Please clarify. Thank you.
george@lvvMemberI’m working on setting up the Thank You page so encrypted links to pay per view video content can display after a payment transaction is completed.
At this PayPal page: “Payment Data Transfer”
it says this: “PDT is not meant to be used with credit card or Express Checkout transactions.”
“Not meant to be used with credit card”??
Is “not meant to be” the same as “cannot be”?
At this page:
“WP eStore – Instant Digital Product Delivery on A Thank You Page”
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-instant-digital-product-delivery-499
it says:
“This function uses PayPal’s PDT (Payment Data Transfer) feature.”
Does this mean Instant Digital Product Delivery on A Thank You Page can only be used with PayPal account holders, not with credit card buyers paying with PayPal?
